Well made knife for larger animal hides
I found this fleshing knife to be a nicer piece of steel than I was expecting for the price. The curve is made to fit a fleshing board. After trying to flesh a deer hide with my bowie knife on a table, I made my own fleshing board out of a large piece of wood and found that the angle of the board needed to match the knife for the full knife stroke length to prevent cutting into the hide. The grips and the blade size are nice for deer hide. I'm ready to try another hide with my new setup. Looks like this knife will hold up well even with heavy use.

Worth its Weight in Gold
The Product came on time and as described. When I received the blade I had two Hog Skins ready to be fleshed and I couldn't be happier with how it preformed, the blade took hours off my time. I got both skins done in about the time it would take me to flesh rabbit skin by hand. Highly recommend to anyone who works with large animal hides often, you wont be disappointed.

The perfect balance of price and quality
Our sheepskin was just a little large for this knife, but it otherwise worked great (and absolutely beat the knife we were using). The price was perfect for a beginner (like us). I'm sure the more expensive blades magically de-flesh the skin for you. We will definitely be buying the next larger size from them as well. Thick, sharp blade ready to go out of the box.

Good tool. Mine arrived with unfortunate damage.
This tool works well and is well maid. Mine showed up with a couple nicks in the sharpened (important) side of the blade.

Can’t beat the quality for the price!
This is a great value, it comes razor sharp on one side and square cornered on the other side for pushing. I find I use the sugared side for pushing probably 98% of the time. Great tool for the money, can’t beat the value.

Back saver!!!!I have had two different types of fleshers and this was my far the best!Sharp but not to sharp, but it can go through the deer hide if you go crazy 😂Its curved nice and the handle feels great in my hand even after doing 5 deer hides

Great asset to prepping hides for tanning
This is just what I needed. I was a little skeptical at first but it works! It takes a bit of practice but it's nicely balanced, very sharp, and we'll built.
