I have always used Black and Decker tools. I liked this kit because it was matrix. I already have several matrix attachments and this completed my set. Dont need a lot of tools, just emergency use. This give me everything right at my finger tips. Only one problem, the battery was bad right out of the box. Had to order 2 new batteries.

The MATRIX is the best investment I've ever made in my power tool collection. As someone who has owned various power drill/drivers and impact drill/drivers over the years, this kit has completely changed the game.What truly sets this combo kit apart is the sheer convenience of having everything easily swappable within a single tool. Not sure what to do when I get additional attachments but I'll cross that bridge when it's time.I have to admit that I haven't had the opportunity to test every attachment thoroughly, but so far, I've used the drill/driver, impact, and jigsaw attachments, and they've all been remarkably easy to use and incredibly effective. The drill/driver powers through various tasks, from simple household projects to more complex DIY endeavours, with precision and ease. The impact driver delivers the force needed for those tougher jobs, while the jigsaw attachment has proved to be a reliable addition to my toolkit.The power and performance of the tools in this kit are outstanding. They provide a seamless transition between tasks, thanks to the quick and hassle-free attachment changes. This not only saves time but also enhances overall productivity.Edit: I purchased this on Jul 31, 2023. The main unit only stopped working on January 15, 2025. This doesn't change my rating as I am looking to either get it repaired or replaced. It is a fantastic kit and value for your money.

This set is sturdy and works great, except, as others have mentioned the battery was dead on arrival and wouldn't charge. I have another B&D battery and with a couple of pennies was able to revive this battery and it is now taking a charge. Looking forward to using all the tools. I have a couple of 3rd party 6ah batteries and they really make things easy.Battery charge:Online videos show how to revive a dead battery with a couple of pennies and another good battery.

I have had a Max kit with 3 tools for many years. The trigger was worn so I bought this new version with 6 attachments.Now I can remove a few tools from my RVMy neighbor saw it and got one too for his boat

I like black and decker tool and have several (weed eater, drill, chainsaw, leaf blower). When I saw this kind of all in one tool that uses batteries I already have, I thought I had to have it. I have not used all the attachments, but the ones I have used worked well. My one complaint is you cannot store the attachments in the case with the bits or blades installed. So every time I want to put tool away, I have to disassemble. I have lost the jigsaw blade already, which I realize is my fault, but if I could store the tools put together, it would make it easier to keep track of everything. Also with the router, you then have to setup the correct depth each time you take it out. This is not too hard, but I wouldn’t say it is easy either. There is no marking for depth, so each time is a bit of trial and error. But overall I am happy with the purchase and don’t regret it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:BEWARE!!!! Amazon is sending out units with bad batteries!! I've been through four of these through Amazon three to my father-in-law has returns all bad batteries blinking red lights. One to my father. The batteries are old and from 2021 not sure why. Make sure you take this up with Amazon. Also take it up with Black & Decker to get new batteries issued. Try to speak to a live person rather than go through email. You need the model number of the battery and the date code take pictures and send it to Black & Decker you'll get new ones. Maybe Amazon is trying to sell old stock but there's something funny going on here beware!

Dead battery on arrival and B&D customer support says it would be 2 weeks before I get a replacement but it showed up 3 days later. I appreciate them setting low expectations and then exceeding them but I was a bit upset at first with the 2 week estimate.
