a little loud with both playing music at the same time
these are heaps of fun. the kids have been nuts about these. they are a bit loud and cause alot of loud excitement, but mostly these are just good fun. the characters can be a little fiddly to sit on again sometimes. the cars come with two batteries each, which is just aswell really, as they get played with heavily and run out often. you dont get any batteries for the controllers. im not a big fan of the battery plugs directly into a tiny cable to usb set up, just looks dodgy to me and if you use the wrong power rated usb plug... best pay attention the the instructions. i just feel like a proper charger or a set up for regular batteries would have been better.

Good fun for the whole family, not just kids.
These are SO much fun! I got these for my nephews to play with but I got plenty of amusement out of these having a go of them myself. The aim of the game is to chase after each other and bump into the side to eject the other driver form their car. The cars make sounds and light up too. The controllers were responsive and had no issues controlling the cars when playing. We had these out on laminate flooring and were easy to control, not sure how they'd fare on other types of floor like carpet.

Scratched wood floor
Wish I never bought these. Has scratched a wood floor it will take quite a bit of money to fix.

Designed for kids but loved by adults
The media could not be loaded. These are a lot of fun. Being used to racing with a screen these bumper cars ‘went down’ much better than I expected. In the first place we found it a matter of simply whizzing them around, backwards, forwards and in circles, getting use to the controllers. This developed into creating a track to race. But, once discovered, the goal of launching the opponents’ driver when bumped in the right place quickly took over. The cars are pretty solid and the controls whilst modelled on gaming ones are not as sophisticated. But you wouldn’t expect that at the price. The two controllers have 3 knobs / buttons. The middle one turns it on and off and offers a choice of three sounds / tunes. One button controls forward and backward movement and the other turning. Initially ‘turning’ is just going round in circles but with practice the skill to be more precise will come.Whilst rechargeable batteries are enclosed for the cars, (with an additional one with each), you need to purchase a couple of AA’s for each controller. There are cables included to recharge the batteries with with a USB at one end the connections for the other end are a bit fiddly and would think more prone to problems than more regular ones. These car batteries came with a bit of charge but it is worth charging all up before you start. There is no separate instruction leaflet and whilst a lot of it is intuitive there are some basic details on the box. So it is probably worth keeping the box.On the cars is an on/off button underneath and the battery compartment is screwed into place. There is a handy screwdriver included which makes the job easier. Just be careful not to lose the screw as it is not attached. With the small parts this set is advised for the over threes. But with an adult supervising even the youngest child might enjoy watching older children, (or adults) play with the cars as the light and sounds they produce do encourage you to follow whilst they zoom around . Overall a nice set of cars and drivers appealing to adults and kids for family fun times.

Brilliant!
I have had the opportunity to review this product sold through the Amazon completely FREE of any charges, allowing me to provide unbiased opinion based on my observations, experience and other contributing factors. Before purchasing, always consider the negative impacts of over-buying has on the environment. Whether you truly need the product and its life span, ability to be reused, repurposed or fixed (after-sale environmental impact)The product:So much fun!! Honestly! These number cars ride on carpet and smooth flooring. Comes with 4 rechargeable batteries for the cars. Remotes need 2 AAs each. Cars have light and sounds. Numbing is great when it ejects the driver. Very responsive and well build set of cars. Amazing value for money.

Works better than expected
This is a set of 2 remote control bumper cars. The idea is the 2 cars try to bump into each other and there are buttons on either side that each car tries to hit - when they do, the little figure in it gets ejected. They actually work better than I expected - we tried them out on hard floor and carpet and they worked on both, although they seemed faster on the hard floors. The remotes work well and don't get mixed up with each car. We've tried them to about 15m and had no issues with dropped signals. They are really fun, to be honest, the kids haven't had much of a look in because the adults have been playing with them more :)
