Excellent quality for the price you pay.
Very well-made and crafted. Heavy duty leather. And it’s the most comfortable belt I’ve ever used. Excellent back support, because of the extra padding. The buckles are heavy duty, not cheap thin metal and the stitchings are well placed and sewn. extra bucket Support is pretty unique… The additional pull-up and dip strap ,is also well-made and fortified to support heavy weight…Props to whoever designed and developed this belt..

Good multipurpose belt
I'm a 5'3" 185lb female power lifter. My waist is 37". I got the Large and it fits well - I wear on the tighter of the middle sets of holes. I got this belt to help with bracing my core, which has become the breaking point in my squat. It helps a lot. Many people estimate the belt increases squat by 10-12%. I haven't tried it yet because I'm still getting used to it. My personal record felt easy and stable for 5 reps so it is a functional piece of equipment.Starting Strength and many other powerlifting resources recommend a 10mm thick 4" wide belt. This is 8mm and 3" in the front, 4" in the back. Majority is 4". If you're under 5'6" or have a short waist (both in my case), the 3" rather than 4" is helpful. Even the 3" pinches a bit. The 8mm is fine and in fact I think 10mm might be too stiff. It's already hard to guide the end of the belt into the loops. The padded suede is a nice touch because many people complain the typical belts are uncomfortable. There's about an inch of spacing in between the holes so you can be precise about how tight. 8 sets of holes. I really have to exhale/suck in to get it to the right tightness. And wear around the waist because it will slip to the narrowest point of your torso.I haven't tried to weighted dip/pull up but the straps fit around my 45lb plates. I may actually try to use it as an assist for dips and pull ups (as you can imagine I'm not doing weighted pull ups as a 35 BMI female). The straps and carabiners are minimum quality but I'm certain they'll hold up. They just don't have the premium feel of the mid and high end home gym stuff like Rogue and Rep. It seems like something you would find at a commercial gym. The strap is a little too thick for the carabiner so it will bunch and feels a little too thick to maneuver. It will settle in to the right size as it gets used though.Good value for the money because it combines power lifting belt with dip belt at a price in between the two. So you don't have to buy both and it's less expensive than a typical powerlifting belt.

Incredible value and function relative to its price
For many years my father made his living crafting custom leather products--from shoes for rehabilitation, to motorcycle and weight lifting belts. Omaha was a hot bed of "professional wrestling," and I got to meet many of them as they came to my father for belts. Over a half century ago he bestowed on me my own custom weight lifting belt, of full grain leather, sometimes doubled, with provision for growth as I matured. It took almost a decade for the leather to fully break in and conform to me fully. I've kept and used that belt ever since--fortunately the changes in my body were slow enough for the leather to adapt to the latest version of me, though the extension section looked oddly new compared to the rest of it.Alas, some medical issues have caused the glove like fit to be replaced with something with more padding, but equal support. I approached the search for such a belt with great trepidation. You don't replace something that you've lived with most days of the week, most weeks of the year, for 50 years, but I was told I must reduce the pressure on vulnerable points, or stop performing some of my favorite lifts. My search for a padded belt lead me to this Jaffick model. I obtained it not just for the padding, but I felt the modest price would make it less painful if I had to move on trying out others. Well, I've put this to use for several weeks now, after a week delay because I had to make up an extension strap to get it to fit my girth (I'd likely be an XXL, if they made one). Frankly, I've just been blown away by what makes up this belt. Yah, it's really leather with heavy, well spaced stitching. Yah, the non leather parts are of sturdy metal. Thus cushioning is real, and exactly sized and placed for my needs (and I suspect most others). The leather is not the very finest grade I've encountered, but it is superior to at least 75% of other weight belts. The piece reeks of heavy duty, and attention to details. Most importantly, it allows me to do my lifts with much lessened aggravation--I think it may improve further as it continues to break in.Highly recommended and fully worthy of five stars
