Very versatile with good looks.
The media could not be loaded. Only one slot, but you can load 2 pieces side by side. I purchased to cook naan breads but ideal for Brioche buns and crumpets. Six different heat settings plus reheat and defrost.

Great toaster looks good works well
Slim, takes up far less space than my old toaster and looks good. Lost a star because the slot is a little bit small for a regular slice of bread but thats a minor issue. Can still toast 2 slices with a squeeze. I also purchased the kettle. Recommended!

Lunar toaster
Good toaster. Bought along with matching kettle. Slots not quite long enough for farmhouse loaf but other than yet it is very good. It’s quick and toasts very evenly. No bagel setting or “pop up and see” but overall very good.UPDATE: Now returned as toaster seem to be TOO quick as it toasted the outside ok but the inside was not as it should be - too soft. This was even worse for frozen bread.

The Worst Toaster I've Ever Owned
So, what have Russell Hobbs done that makes this Luna Long Slot Toaster so completely useless? It's a tricky one, as it's flawed in so many different ways. On unpacking the item you're immediately amazed at how the grade of metal used manages to look so like plastic. I even found myself tapping it to make sure I wasn't imagining it. No matter, the matching kettle looks just as tacky & cheap but that manages to do a reasonable job.The settings on the toaster give you a bread heating option ranging between 1 and 6. It's irrelevant really, as on every setting above 2 you will get burnt toast. I've never been brave enough to use 6, partly because I don't want to set the smoke alarm off, partly because it'll stink the house out, but mostly because I don't feel the need to restart the charcoal creation industry in Sussex. Kudos to Russell Hobbs for keeping you on your toes though, as the elements heat so irregularly over the bread that even on the '2' setting you'll still end up with a piebald slice as the toaster battles with its inner demons trying to create a piece of toast that is curiously both burnt and underdone. If you don't feel like toast but are overcome with the urge to use a toaster then simply select any setting under '2' (that'd be between 1 & a smidgen under 2 then) to get a beautifully tepid piece of bread. One blessing is that if you ever want 2 slices of toast it'll never be completely burnt, as the item has been so poorly designed that you'll only fit 2 slices of small, square bread into it. So as a matter of course, part of a regular slice of bread will always remain untoasted.I would recommend this toaster to masochists who wish to suffer every breakfast or sadists who don't like toast but want to ensure that guests and loved ones can never enjoy toast in their household again.Perhaps I'm wrong just to label the Toaster as the worst I've ever owned, as in truth it's the worst I've ever used. Russell Hobbs are to be commended on their determination to make the most utterly useless kitchen product that still functions, but is manifestly unable to do the job for which it was purchased. I would recommend ANY other toaster above this. Seriously, buy an Amazon Basics product if one exists, the cheapest ASDA product you can find, a blowtorch and a fork! All of this would be perhaps if not excusable then expected had this been a Russell Hobbs 'cheapest generic product'. "Ah!" you would say, "You got what you paid for!" No, this is one of their 'better' products, the kind of hopeless inefficiency it takes a decent time to create. Breathtakingly bad design and execution like this doesn't happen by accident, you know.If you do read this review and still feel the urge to go and buy one, then in all honesty you should be denied the right to exchange it. You can't read this and say you haven't been warned about it.....

It's a toaster.....
It claims to be super fast but it's no quicker than any other toasters. It has 5 settings but 1, 2 and 3 just warm the bread to be honest4 will toast it and 5 is the same as 4. So put it on setting 5 and just leave it. Am I happy with it??. As a basic toaster yes.

Nice
Very happy with this 2 slice toaster, 60 seconds on full and you're good to go. the eclipse kettle matches well too. 3 weeks in and zero issues with either. Would recommend.

Disappointed with this
So disappointed with this toaster,I though I'd found the perfect toaster with wide slots and good looking too, unfortunately it doesn't perform well, toasts unevenly ,burnt edges before the centre is toasted,I would have returned it but I've thrown away the box,not sure if I can still return it without the box,has anyone else?
