Need some really decent cable to run 24 V into an inverter in my lorry. This Cable was perfect for the job and easily handle the amperage that my 3000 W inverter needs, and they don’t even get warm in the slightest

Good shielding and great conductivity

Plain and simple. I must concur with the other reviewer that pointed this out. The copper overall does have a diameter of about 5.63mm and that would be about right for a single core / solid copper bar. When you convert 25mm² to diameter, you get 5.64mm. This neglects to include cross-sectional area losses from packing the round wires into a hexagonal grid. You lose about 15% of the cross sectional area doing that and you have to factor that in, strand for area. This manufacturer is taking advantage of the fact most people don't know this, and simply google "x AWG", buy wire, sadly.319 strands of 0.29mm at 0.0660519855mm² each, adding up to a meagre total of 21.07mm². Even if my count is out by 1% or my measuring instruments are by let's be generous +/- 0.02mm, that does not excuse a discrepancy of 15.7% missing copper. There is no intermediary between 4awg and 25mm². If you list two cable standards (especially AWG), you should MEET THE MAXIMUM of either. 4awg is 21.1mm², 25mm² is around 3.2~AWG or 4 minus some.Go buy your cable elsewhere and check your wiring. Buy your cables by strand count and individual strand diameter i.e. 7/0.2mm or 16/0.1mm just to name a few, or strict CSA compliance.Fortunately I wanted this for a prop with a specific diameter rubber exterior, but speaking as an electrical engineer, this company is committing fraud. I thought something was up when the cable arrived and the rubber was way thicker than it should be.
