Great way to save time and money
While I normally prefer to use 6 or 12 strand fiber and terminate the ends myself, I have used these pre-terminated fiber optic cables on multiple occasions to save money for my clients.Things to consider if you are needing to run a new fiber optic connection:-The environment you are running the cable in.Is it going inside a plenum area in the ceiling, or does it need to be buried underground between 2 buildings? Could it be hit or crushed by accident?I have accidentally stepped on these fiber cables, every time I have used one and have not had any issues with performance. They are made with a TPU jacket, so they are not appropriate to be inside of a plenum area unfortunately.-The need for future expansion. Are you going to need more connections between these locations later? If so, how many? These pre-terminated cables can be purchased up to 12 core (6 duplex connections) so you can get a link up now, and have plenty of dark fibers to spare.-How fast do you need it and at what cost.Is a critical link down and effecting production, or are you setting up a connection for a new leg on your network that won't be used for weeks? Are you able to spend thousands on the connection or is a few hundred dollars all you can afford? While some configurations of the cables can be ordered and received within a day, others take a little longer to arrive. So, if you have to get it up today, you might have to call a contractor to come out to deal with the emergency but if you have some time to spare then you cant beat the value here. Compare having a 2 fiber OS2 connection installed by a contractor at $1400 to the $400 you'd spend on using one of these cables. That is $1000 saved and you can use that budget elsewhere. So TLDR, these cables are a great way to save time and money implementing a fiber connection on your network. I highly recommend.

Very nice jacket and have a positive lock in the tranceiver.
I have finally decided to jump into Fiber Optic for runs to my shop and my garage. When this came up for review I jumped on it. I have picked up a roll of both mixed mode and single mode. I ordered up 4 media converters and 2 MM and 2 SM SFP transceivers.Pros:Nice spool rolled with no tight radius on the cable.Very positive engagement into the transceiver.Very nice jacket/sleeving with amazing shrink tubing where they spit out.Cons:Nothing that I can see as a drawback on this cable.I received my media converters today along with the cable, I hooked everything up and just ran RJ45 to box one, connected up the fiber and the other box to my router. Took a few seconds for the media converters to sync, but then I had the lovely 1g link light and blinking activity lights.Next up is to run some 1" conduit to my buildings and pull this through so I can ditch my slow wireless bridge setup.

Good cable
Used it on a Nova Star 4K processor as a fiber extender it worked flawlessly.

Great cable
This is a weird statement... but... this is stronger than a normal copper wire. Walking on it, rolling over it, seems to not hurt it, but copper flexes and cracks pretty easily.Combine that with the data rates capable, or video signals, and this is an easy choice.Easy to run, easy to use.

Very strong protection and easy to pull!
This sure beats splicing and this cable is built like a tank. Pulled it through conduit and direct-buried it over a 300 foot run. Connection is solid and I’m currently running 2 10G connections on it without an issue.

POOR CABLE DESIGN
This happened on both ends of the cable. For whatever reason they have a threaded barrel on each end where it breaks off into the 4 cores rather than it being a solid core barrel. When you go to install it, if you don't keep your eye on these ends like it's a 2-year-old toddler after they've learned how to climb on things, the next thing you know, these threaded barrels will unscrew on their own and pull the fiber out of the case and there is NO WAY TO PUT IT BACK IN. Now, my extremely delicate fiber cables are as delicate as a single human hair. Good luck using it. STAY AWAY until they fix this terrible design.
