Love this series
I started collecting these figurines to decorate my bedroom because I have a sleep disorder that makes me sleep a LOT. Since they all have their eyes closed like they fell asleep mid activity, I just fell in love with them.Then came this set where they're all sleep themed. Could it get any better?

I got Nightmare. The doll is beautiful and well made, but doesn't stand up very well.

Damaged
The box was completely ruined upon arrival. And the figure itself was damaged as well. I was really excited to get this so it was disappointing to receive it in this condition.

Nanci figures, where even the Nightmare is a dream
This Rolife Nanci vinyl figure from the Nanci's Dream blind box set is called Nightmare, but for me she's a delight. This figure doesn't have the limited posability of some others, but the quality of the painting is superb, with excellent attention to detail and subtle color gradients. It also has the usual QR code under one foot if you choose to register her with the website, and the box includes a card indicating which figure is inside the bag if you prefer to leave them unopened for collecting or trading.I don't know whether or not it was a deliberate choice, but this figure also looks differently incredible under blacklight - besides the obvious glow of her and her skull buddy's sleep bubbles, the lantern and hearts luminesce brightly, pink and purple paints show moderately, and a subtle glow emanates from her blush. The glow of the lantern didn't fully register with my camera, but it's a luminous milky white in person.I still don't know why all the Nanci figures are sleeping, but I do find them oddly calming, like a reminder that no matter what is going on around me, it's never the wrong time to slow down, take it easy, and maybe catch a little nap.
