We had one of these that came with a gizmo for slicing bread, probably 30 years old. The gizmo was fair but the knife was wonderful! We had used it to slice turkey and beef, bread, and even to cut down boxes for recycling. We liked it so much that we gave it to a daughter who serves meats and poultry frequently and makes her own bread. Then we realized we miss that excellent knife so we bought another one. I think that old electric knife and the new one are exactly the same! Very sharp, very easy to separate the blades from the motor and each other for cleaning.

This thing slices like a dream—turkey, roast, bread, you name it. But be warned: it’s not called Easy Slice for nothing. I’ve carved more of my own fingers than actual dinner. It’s powerful, fast, and not for the faint of hand. Definitely gets the job done, just make sure you’re focused… and maybe keep a bandage nearby.Great tool. Dangerous relationship.

Works well. Blades don't seem quite as sturdy as old knife that quit but the knife does what I need it to do. Good product for price. I liked the style of old knife and this one is almost the same so I am comfortable using it.

Works good, but there's just too much of a gap between the blades which causes the food to get in between and spread them apart, and in turn causes weird cuts.

Very good knife I use it to filet fish and it works very well love it highly recommend it

It’s great to have to slice homemade bread.

Great price and saved me about $300 for the expensive foam cutter I almost bought for my reupholstering project. I was skeptical this would work but for $20, it was worth it to try. This thing cut pretty straight and mostly smooth through 5” 2.6 density foam. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend for other DIYers cutting foam.
