The Perfect Companion for 3D Printing Projects
I recently purchased the ELEGOO PLA Plus Filament in 1.75mm Black for a series of 3D printing projects, and I must say, this filament has exceeded my expectations. The quality and performance of this PLA+ filament have made it a standout addition to my 3D printing materials.Firstly, the strength and durability of the PLA Plus filament are impressive. It's noticeably tougher and stronger than standard PLA, which is evident in the final print quality. The objects I've printed have shown excellent structural integrity, with no signs of brittleness or warping, a common issue with lesser-quality filaments. The filament's consistency is another aspect worth noting. It feeds smoothly into the printer without any clogging or tangling issues. This consistency is crucial for long print jobs, ensuring that the printing process is uninterrupted and reliable. Also, the 1.75mm diameter is accurately maintained throughout the spool, which is essential for precision in printing. The finish of the prints is something that I find particularly pleasing. The black color is rich and uniform, giving a professional and sleek appearance to the completed models. Whether for functional parts or decorative items, the aesthetic quality this filament brings is top-notch.Another important factor is the ease of use. The ELEGOO PLA Plus Filament adheres well to the printing bed and works well at typical PLA printing temperatures, making it a hassle-free option for both beginners and experienced users. In terms of value, this 1KG spool is priced very reasonably, especially considering the enhanced properties of PLA+. Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional, this filament provides excellent quality without breaking the bank.In conclusion, the ELEGOO PLA Plus Filament in Black is an exceptional choice for anyone involved in 3D printing. Its combination of strength, consistency, aesthetic quality, and ease of use makes it a superior filament, suitable for a wide range of applications. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable 3D printer filament.

Top Notch Printing at a Fast Speed, Color is Spot On, Clean Prints, Fast Release
Wow. This filament is not only strong, but the color is spot on and the speed of printing is just as good as PLA. However, unlike Overture's Turbo PLA, which is brittle and honestly a bit sloppy, this is far better. Overture's Turbo PLA also stuck to the PEI plate pretty badly, whereas this just peels and slides off when you're ready to pull it. Otherwise, it prints very cleanly. So far, I'm a fan of the Elegoo PLA, PLA+ and mostly a fan of their PETG. I have their ABS, but I'm not quite prepared to print such a toxic filament quite yet. I also have to try Sunlu's TPU filament, but I'm waiting for the same reason.

Great *everything* PLA filament.
I've been using Elegoo PLA+ for about a year now as my main PLA. It's been very consistent for me. Out of 50+ rolls, I've never had a problem with it. I'm using it primarily on a Neptune 4. The flowrate is similar enough between different colors that you probably don't have to run calibrations. I run them on every roll of every filament I get though. If you want flawless prints, you have to do the work. You have to do some testing to see how fast you can print specific models with overhang, bridging, etc. The best results I get are somewhere around 250mm/sec on complex models.I've used it through .4 and .6 nozzles with no issues. If you plan on using it with a hardened steel nozzle, bump up the nozzle temp. It prints fine though.I would easily recommend Elegoo's PLA+ to anyone looking for a solid PLA+ at a good price point. It's a basic filament that does a great job in basic colors.

Great product, runs very smooth, good price
UPDATE: Material is still as below but I have now started to get the same issues as others have reported regarding the cardboard spools. In my case, both sides of the spool are not alligned with each other. This is causing the spool to wobble and then eventually bind in my CFS unit. It's very annoying because I will be hours into a print and maybe not home when it does it. Now, there is a print line in my project because of the long pause.Original Review:I was finishing up a spool of another brand and half way through it switched to the Elegoo and the results were outstanding (In the pics, you can clearly see where). I won't mention the other brand as honestly I'm fine with it and I'm sure with some different settings it would run just as good. But the Elegoo is running flawlessly on my K2 Plus with default profiles. It is printing so smooth you can barely see the print lines. I've run 5 spools so far and have had really good results.
