MMT Black Gloss TV Stand Cabinet 140cm for Up to 65 Inch TV, Living Room Furniture with Storage Cupboard and Open Shelving

Easy to assemble. Value for money. Looks good.

We constructed this TV stand only yesterday so I can’t review its durability, but we have a number of black, high gloss items of furniture in our lounge (including a Yamaha grand piano) and this item doesn’t look out of place, despite being by far the cheapest. All the parts were numbered and the high gloss panel (top) was protected with removable cellophane. The manufacturer seems to have read previous reviews, because there are now 5 legs provided (one in the centre to prevent bowing, as the stand is wide). The feet are plastic (fake chrome). The cupboard handles are stainless steel. Construction took about 1.5 hrs, mostly due to the little screws for the feet (20 total), which are fiddly and the 8 little screws for the cupboard door hinges.

Nice looking unit but the side panels are not high gloss just the top and doors are. Also there is a chip out of the shelf at the front where you can see. The instructions are not that clear but if you use your head and don’t rush into putting the unit together you will be ok.

not sure where to start with this one. let's start with the initial impression, the panels were numbered which is always a good start and there was a lot of packing and foam, also reassuring.when i looked at the instructions, there was no more than a few lousy drawings and thankfully i have built a lot of flat pack so could figure it out...anyone with no experience i don't think they would be so lucky. see the pictures.the screws are terrible and instead of metal couplings they are plastic so the slightest mistake you ruin it. the tongue and groove panels are not properly finished and do not go in properly. the actual screw in couplings to lock panels in place are rough and do not fit properly. when the thing is built there are 4-5mm gaps all over the place. the feet are hollow plastic cubes which crack when you attache them, i'd actually advise you not to use them as they will also ruin your floor.in short, i love buying things from amazon and only rarely do i get let down. i thought i would buy flat pack from here, but i will stik to the likes of argos and ikea as this has just been a lousy experience and a lousy product.also, want to add that i was realy keenly waiting for this to arrive on a promised delivery date. we have a small house on an easy access road and always hear the doorbell and can see the drive. this was expected by 2100 but weirdly at 2130 the status of delivery changed to "the driver tried to deliver but no one answered"... simply not true.

The packaging was great (yes flat packed) but all the gloss sides were covered in a thick film to reduce the chances of scratches. Fairly easy to build. I had help building it from my father but between the two of us it was not much of an issue. The only minor aspect which was a slight concern is the back panel. This had to be nailed rather than screwed. I suppose the back panel is not really visible and doesn't need to be that thick (very thin) so perhaps it is better to be lighter in case you need to move it around. All in all I think it would be unfair to reduce the rating for this aspect.For my, whether it is up close or from a distance this cabinet looks great. Bought this for my new TV (55") and the whole set along with my PS4 looks great. If you are looking for somthing simplistic and yet extremely functional I would highly recommend this product.
