Best stuff on the market

Used on cast iron table bases in my pub.Easy to use and I got 3 heavy single coats from the can.So far no signs of chipping or peeling and tables get plenty of knocks and kicks.I can’t comment on effectiveness as undercoat as I only wanted to cover rust with a matt finish.

Reviewed August 2022:Previously used this in white for an indoor decorating project where the angle bead under the interior plaster had rusted in the bathroom. It has held up well (so far), so did not hesitate to use the same brand for my car.This was to refinish the pedals in my old Land Rover, which are made of untreated steel, the rubbers were perished and worn, and the actual pedals were thick with rust, muck and who knows what else.I did not want to remove them to clean them up (overkill and complicated with the hydraulics) so it was a case of clean them up as much as possible 'in-situ'. I cleaned them up and did scrape back any loose rust with a big flat headed screwdriver and they were well dusted down and then I cleaned them up with brake cleaner to get any grease, oil, etc which might effect the paint.I used newspaper and rags to stop any overspray and then gave them 3 coats, the first was a light dusting, waited a few mins, then 2 slightly heavier coverings.I did leave them for 12 hours, and its August 2022, so super hot, and I am sure that helped to really bake the finish on.Finish is a satin black, its perfect for what I wanted, and now I've put the new, replacement pedal rubbers on, its made them look so much better.Second time I've used the brand, nothing to complain about at all.

Brilliant product with good coverage.Applies very evenly and seems to be durable.Treats rusted areas as well as it claims to.

Seems to work ok but the spray is probably extremely toxic if used in unventilated space. There are the usual warnings on the can but from using this, I would strongly recommend wearing a mask even if in open space - the fumes are very strong.

Have bought this 3 times . Last time was June '24 . £10 per 400ml can , latest price is £15 per 400ml can . It's a great product but.....
