Q: Is it possible to disable the high co2 ppm alarm? i need it to control co2 levels on a mushroom grow tub, so co2 levels will be high

Had this one for about 2 weeks, u,nable to set ppm alarm and it's wildly off compared to the my other professional CO2 detectors(500 ppm). Inaccurate readings, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How often are you supposed to calibrate this? Readings seem irratic

Never calibrate, the CO2 in the room never changes. Temperature readings were inaccurate when compared to dedicated hydrometers. I am highly skeptical given how far off the other readings are. It's only rated 4, you should read the negative reviews. It's about the safety of you and your family, look at other brands.

Q: Does it work while plugged in for uninterrupted use?

Yes, it runs while plugged in. Once charged it seems to run for about 12 hours before the battery gets very low.

Q: Does it have an auto-calibration? How often is the value refreshed?

The instructions say to take it outside in a well ventilated place, press a sequence of buttons, and wait as it counts down. I am not sure how long it lasts. However when I leave my 14th floor window open and leave the room for a long time it goes down to 409 ppm. That’s pretty close to the current global value of 412.
