Wouldn't recommend for long haired cats
The gloves are good, yes. But I wouldn't recommend it for long haired cats. I've got a persian for over a year and he's never had his hair as matted as these past two months since I started using these gloves. I would brush his hair with a regular brush and use the gloves only for the fly aways. His hind legs hot so matted over time that I had to cut al the knots. Things got back to normal after i stopped using these gloves
