Commercial Grade Spotlight For Hard Hats
The media could not be loaded. Okay so ill start off by saying I literally filled out a return form after I opened it. Compared to some nice cree headlamps it is visually larger, heavier and more cumbersome. I immediately thought this thing will not work - my plan of overcompensation was ruined - the boys gon make fun of me ma. I came back 30 minutes later, put it on my hard hat and did some comparisons and let me say the psychological bark is much worse than the bite. While it is heavier and much larger it also looks doofy af in daylight until you remember you need this thing when youre in complete darkness and nobody can really see that anyways, all they can do is appreciate the insane light source and information it offers. The large rubber plate actually sticks better to a hard hat because of its larger rubber coated surface area than the cree's. After some adjusting it actually stays on the hard hat better - believe it or not - I threw my head around as much as possible with all 3 of my headlamps and it just sticks better.. It throws the best long range spotlight out of any headlamp - hands down. I weighed it at 12 oz then weighed my cree's which were 8 oz ( 4 ounce difference ). The one real flaw is that this thing doesnt just have a 4 foot extension cord to a battery pack. The battery pack which is all the weight, attaches to the light and it all sits on the front of the hard hat which does not spread the weight proportionally. However I work on tugboats in san francisco and all the way up the pitch black sacramento river and will use it average 1 hour at a time maybe a few times a night, so its long shot spotlight far outweighs the cons. Being able to see the eye on a line on an unlit buoy or a partially submerged object that can destroy a $50,000 propeller in the fog from 1000 ft is much better than having a headlamp that is 4 oz lighter IMO. Not to mention the thing will make you and the boys laugh for days- its stupid funny how overcompensating it is. PLUS your gonna have that mike tyson neck by the time yer dun with her boy. If yer ready to put your big boy pants on - then she's waiting for you. Another thing : the high end cree's have more battery problems - they die faster. This isnt the biggest LED chip but the design overall creates a longer range included with better battery life because of that. This is a commercial product IMO so if your looking for a headlamp for less important purposes- you dont need this thing. Make sure you absolutely have a lanyard attaching you, it and the hard hat together, just in case and get ready for all the ladies chasing that thicc neck.

INSANELY BRIGHT, great value
This flashlight is ridiculously bright. If I shine it at the sky at night, I get a reflection back, it's crazy. It is a bit bulky, but if you need a super bright flashlight, this is it.

Pretty Good Light
This head lamp has a nice bright center beam that is about 5-30ft in diameter, depending on how far away from your subject you are. We tried this light at night in one of our local fields and it was able to illuminate the trees so well that you could readily make out branches and tree trunks at 1,200 ft away. It did illuminate to 1,600 ft, but the details were not so easy to make out...The fill light was ample as well, it made it easy to see close by and work with your hands. There are three cons though...#1 The battery is not replaceable.#2 The plastic battery housing is huge..and I have a relatively large head at 7-3/4".#3 The hinge that allows the light to be tilted is plastic...hopefully that holds up to me over the years.

High beam
I use this for frogging it’s a little big I’ll admit. But it’s by far the brightest headlight I have ever used amazing. Okay battery life as well if you need to see in the dark this will do it hands down.

Good distance light but heavy
This head lamp casts a long distance beam and is decently bright. The only drawback is that it's a bit heavy so a slight strain on the neck.I wear this on a full brim hard hat and it fits pretty good on it. Another thing to keep in mind is that it projects the light straight forward and it's not a wide arc so you might not have a good view peripherally in the direction you are shining it.The battery on a full charge gets me through a full shift of work so it's not bad. I recommend this If you work at night or are out hiking or camping and need to see things from a distance.
