excellent addition to my wellness regimen
I am using this for the flavanols, and the fact that it has scientific backing. Clinically proven! It's pricy. It is something I will try to budget for, but it's a challenge. That being said, I like it a lot and overall find it worth it. Just a strong, natural, smooth chocolate flavor. Has bite. This is not sweetened. Have you had plain cacao powder before? If not, then you may find this slightly bitter. If you are used to dark chocolate, then this will taste just fine. I like it. Supplements dont need to taste like dessert.Just one scoop a day. I try to take it daily, but sometimes I forget. So far, I am getting the amount of servings as stated. Scoop is included. Dont use more if you are trying to get the 30 servings per bottle.I currently add it to my smoothie, but sometimes have had it simply mixed with water, or oat milk, or added to coffee. I dont always need to have is as part of some delicious drink. Just mixing with a little water and chugging also works for me. BTW, cocoa powder doesnt 100% dissolve. So if planning on adding it to coffee, just swirl your cup once in awhile in case it has sat long enough to start to settle on bottom.I read some of the reviews. Good grief, make sure to actually read the description and read the ingredients. Also, of course there is caffeine in this (also listed) because chocolate has naturally occurring caffeine. Products are filled based on weight, not volume, so yes there is going to be a half empty appearance. Powder settles. Container sizes tend to be standard. This isnt sweetened.

Great Health Benefits
Great product, love the health benefits. Make sure you drink with non dairy milks to get full benefit like Organic Oat Milk/Almond Milk. Just be careful, not all oatmilk and almond milk has oats and almonds LOL. Many have other chemicals and additives. Also, sweeten with 100% Maple Syrup if you want, no refined sugar.

Four for quality
Cocoa is the greatest of the types of base for chocolate. This product is powdered Cocoa and pure. Nothing else. No sugar or additives.Pure cocoa powder is bitter and not like other shelf products like Quik for example. It’s full of flavonoids which is very healthy for you.Unfortunately it does not mix well with coffee. It simply clumps up and falls to the bottom. I’ve yet to try in cold milk or cookies.Hope it mixes easier in them as the benefits are incredible.

Appears to be good for blood flow to muscles...
This cocoa powder has zero amounts of sugar and is very bitter so be prepared to add your favorite sweetener or whatever you need to so it can taste better. It needs to be added to a hot liquid since it can be difficult to melt and fully mix with a liquid. it does work great when added to a sweet cereal with milk. it develops a great chocolate flavor.

Cocoa powder
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I know this tested clean on either consumer lab or lead safe mama. I don't remember which! That is why I got this. I thought it would be good for my heart and brain as well! I mix it in my morning coffee. It makes it taste great.

Ok but pricey
It ok but too pricey. Also the so-called by weight is ridiculous. The container is 3/4 full, which in my opinion is goughing customers

JUST READ IT WILL MAKE SENSE
Cocoa that's been Dutch processed significantly reduces flavanol content. If you read their ingredients it says "processed with alkali" which is dutch processing. There are competing brands at half the cost with more than double the quantity which are fully organic and unprocessed although they won't say how many mg flavanols they have you can assume it's much more being that it's unalkalized and wasn't exposed to high heat. Don't fall for the branding like I did. Dutch processing does make it milder tasting so this is something to keep in mind but if you're throwing it into a smoothie who cares?
