This is an official Hunter PGP-ADJ and comes with a pre-installed nozzle and rotor adjustment tool

Q: Does this screw into a one inch thread?

This is 3/4" Female Pipe Thread. You would need an adapter for 1"

Q: How do the numbers on the nozzle inserts correspond to a approx. distance ?

The numbers are based on a flow rate. Based on pressure at the head and nozzle will determine distance. You can get a ref chart on the mnf web

Q: does it come with the 3/4 to 1 nipple reducer?

No, there is not a reducer or supplemental adaptor included. The receiving part of the Rotor is a 3/4 inch female receptor. I purchased a 3/4 to 1/2 inch adaptor to attach them to ground stakes for an above ground system.

They work great.

I’ve bought several of these sprinklers to replace old broken ones on our system. They work great. You have to take a few minutes to set them the way you want them. They have a key that comes with them.

Had a hunter pgp head that would not adjust, replaced easily, quickly, adjusted - all good to go! Bought the 2 pack, cheaper than big box store, have an extra just in case
