My cat loves to poop in this litter—and she really loves to dig in it and toss it all over my floor like it’s a sandbox. That said, it’s got a nice fresh scent that’s not overpowering, and it works well with my Litter-Robot.Not sure how much of the odor control credit goes to the litter or the robot, but either way—you cannot smell that awful litter box stink in my home, and that’s a win. It clumps well, doesn’t create a huge cloud of dust, and clearly meets my cat’s high standards for digging and flinging.

We have 5 cats,,2 Hooded Litter boxes in our Motorhome, So I Don't skimp on buying Good litter..I've bought ALL The top brand litters & None of them could control the smell coming from the boxes..(Even After A Few Days Of Doing A Full Bleach Cleaning & Change)Mind You, I Sift Daily, sometimes twice & spray the damp pee spots with lysol with every Sift & use a litter deodorizer....Since using this litter, There are No funky smells/Odors Eminating from the boxes anymore & I dont need the Powder deodorizer any longer, Although I Still Use It For The Pleasent Scent.....The Low Tracking Is Better than any other low tracking litter I'veTried...There is Also less Crusty residual litter in the boxes when I clean Them out..The pee clumps Very Tightly, like potato balls..Lol..& Doesn't stick to the bottom....There is Minimal dust when pouring it out..I don't smell much,if any, fragrance In the litter,, Which Is fine..I'm looking for Odor Control & This litter does just that!!!!Overall,,I would give this litter 10 stars & Highly Recommend...

The best smelling and longest lasting litter I've found and trust me I've tried plenty!

This litter is what I would consider an affordable option for people with multiple cats. There are a few things I like about it and a few things I don't.We've tried just about every kitty litter option there is, and although we do like the more expensive varieties (like Pretty Litter, for example) they just aren't feasible for our family of six cats. We are also a very sensitive household, both the humans and the cats, so we've typically tried to stay away from the scented litters. Our favorite for a long time was the Fresh Step Unscented Lightweight version, but for reasons I'll explain we've stopped using that one.Pros of this one:-although it IS scented, the scent is very mild and doesn't bother any of us at all.-the odor control is very good-reasonably priced-clumping is adequate (see notes in Cons below)-very low dust-way less tracking, as long as it is scooped frequently enough (see notes below)Cons:-it doesn't come in a lightweight version, so it is pretty heavy-it doesn't clump quite as well as the lightweight version, although if I'm diligent enough about scooping at least once a day it isn't a deal-breaker. One of our cats is large and produces ridiculous amounts of pee all at once, so sometimes this litter doesn't handle that very well.-although it doesn't track nearly as badly as the lightweight, it does get stupid sticky when it doesn't clump property as noted above.-it doesn't seem to work as well in the stainless steel litter pan. We have a variety of pan types all over the house and this litter seems to work the best in the cheapo Wally World jumbo litter pans. It sticks terribly to the two stainless steel pans.Overall we're very pleased with this as an alternative to the lightweight version. We used the lightweight version for several years because it was the best we could find in our price range that wasn't so heavily perfumed. But the lightweight is VERY dusty and tracks everywhere.The cats seem to prefer the larger granules of this version as well, so we're pretty happy with it.

As stated in the headline, I am a freak about cat litter tracking. It drives me crazy. I have one of those honeycomb mats in front of the cat box and 2 litter mats in front of that to try to get as much litter off of my cat's paws as possible. As I said, I'm a freak about tracking. I have been using Tidy cat 24/7 which is a good litter but there is quite a bit of tracking. I'm a retired senior who recently had shoulder surgery and the Tidy cat is very heavy so I decided to try Tidy cat light weight. That stuff was great as far as ease of use but it got literally EVERYWHERE, on the couch, in my bed, on my coffee table, anywhere my cat went. It was gross. I was sweeping it up all day long. After that experience I decided to try Clean Paws and it is great. The smell is good, it absorbs smell well although it takes a little longer than Tidy cat (my litter box is in my bedroom so I'm particular about that), clumps well enough but there is very little tracking. There is some but this tracking freak is so impressed. The less than great news is its pricey and on a fixed income something else has to go but not being crazy from cat litter tracking has a lot of value for me. It is also very heavy. It has large pieces of litter that don't stick as much to my boy's paws, but again, at least for now, I'm able to deal with it and it is worth it. Will buy this again and recommend it.

Works well for my babies. Good oder control and clean up has been better than Tidy Cats.

It's litter, it does the job

Clumps tight,lasts, especially this(Advanced). I've been using Freshstep for about 20years...first "Multicat" then "Cleanpaws" and now "Advanced Cleanpaws". I couldn't figure out how they could make this product better-they did. The best way I can explain it, dry without being dusty. Still happy after all these years.
