Tapped a thread to repair compressor drain.
Used this tap to repair a compressor. The compressor tank had a drain valve that broke off as it was checked and removed leaving the threads inside the tank connection.This tap helped clear the old drain valve threads ready for the new one to be installed.This fix is not for everyone as the tank pressure is reduced due to preexisting water corrosion inside the existing tank but allows the tank to be returned to service albeit at reduced working pressure until a new air reciever tank can be sourced and delivered. If your air tank is in good condition internally then you'll not have an issue.

One stop shop
Needed a 1/4 BSP tap to modify an adaptor to connect my snow foam cannon to my pressure washer.I was able to source and purchase the tap which was delivered the next day.The job was completed in no time. The tap was excellent quality & value, cutting a clean thread.

Garbage
Drilled the pilot hole in some aluminium and tapped it, the threads formed nicely and took my time so I didn't mar the threads with swarf, then went to put the fitting in and it dropped in, no need to twist at allIt's basically no better than using a metric tap then forcing it in, at least then it would be a tight fit!

Odd size socket
Claims to use a 9mm socket - nope. 8.5mm and nothing imperial fits either.Rubbish quality control
