Excellent quality. A few months ago I replaced outdoor lights above the basketball hoop. Had to use a large ladder and it wasn’t something I had hoped to repeat anytime soon. I replaced both 500w bulbs with a “value pack” from Ace Hardware for $7.99. Less than 3 months later, both are burned out. Decided to purchase these. The gauge of the filament inside the bulbs is 50-100% thicker and has more coils throughout. Packaging was fantastic. I felt like a surgeon, using rubber gloves to insert the new bulbs as per instructed. I am pleased with the bulbs, and they are definitely of higher quality than what you can purchase as your local Ace Hardware store. Box is perfect to store remaining inventory of bulbs.

How many times have I not been able to find the 500 watt bulb and then its broken. The case will make it easy to find and protects them.

Not all halogen bulbs are alike. The bulbs that came with my shop lamps (not these) blew out in a hurry even though I was careful to not leave any residue on them and not move or bump the lamps when lit. The ceramic stuff at the ends would easily crumble any time the bulbs were replaced, no matter how careful I was. This made them fussy for alignment so that once everything was all back together, they would sometimes not light or go out. I then bit the bullet and spent the few extra bucks for these bulbs in the well designed case, and right off you can tell they are way better made although I can not attest for there longevity since I only installed them a month or so ago.

Can never have enough of these if you have a work light. The last thing you need is a blown bulb and you don't have another one to replace it. When you have to have the light you have to have it. This makes it easier to have them with you and carry them in a almost smash proof case where they are safe and you can count all the spares you have.

This light bulb package was just what I was looking for. It is hard to find T-3 500 Watt Halogen bulbs nowdays. Everyone wants the CFL or LED bulbs, but they do not give the natural (almost sun-like) light that these give off. Cost mor to operate I'm sure, but I guess that for my basement lighting, these work wonders in a torchiere floor lamp.

These are so much better than the other bulbs I bought previously. Much stronger. Better packaging and nice case. The other ones burned out or exploded after a few hours each. These have had no problems, and still on my first bulb in both of my work lights. Highly recommended.

Two of the 6 bulbs did not work but for the price you can't really complain too much. Have been using the bulbs for wile with no issue and have not burned out quickly like others have.

Excellent bulbs and the padded, reusable pack in comes on is great! Very good price, too. Way too much packaging though. What a waste of plastic.
