Case length N/A... works good for headspace
Had I known that it wasn’t also a length gauge... I would have chosen a different brand... I milled it to specs... now it’s also a length gauge

Indispensible for the reloader and maybe even a factory ammo shooter
I cant remember if this was a 223 or a 40S&W chamber checker. These are supposedly cut to SAAMI specs which are generous. If you shoot competition, you needs these check your reloads so you dont get a jam on the clock. Loaded some 40S&W this a.m. and checked with this gage and found one that would not drop in. Also, factory ammo being what it is these days, i.e. made faster than humanly possible to try and meet demand, I have found "match" 308 that will not drop freely into and out of the gage.
