Easy to use and nice thin slicesThis is made very well and is so easy to cut thin slices of block cheese like parmesan, with very thin slices. I have used it on block cheddar cheese and also does well. They aren't perfectly uniform slices but very thin and quick. I also have a wire one that cuts uniformly but this one gets the job done very quickly. Also works well on butter that just came from the refrigerator to cut a thin slice and put on toast.

I love cheese and have been trying to control my portions better. Even my best knife would not slice the cheese thin enough. I bought a couple of the wire-type cheese slicers. One worked great but was a little hassle to clean, and the other never worked quite right because the screw that controlled the thickness was too loose.This little slicer, on the other hand, is simple to use and simple to clean (I just soak it in hot soapy water, wipe and rinse). It's all one piece, so you don't have pieces to break or fiddle with. Best of all, it provides you with nearly paper-thin slices of cheese!This slicer is the best solution I have found for getting ultra-thin slices of cheese without muss or fuss.

Needed to replace an older cheese cutter I’d had for quite some time. The handle came looks and water would get into the handle as well. Love that this one is solid, one piece and can go in the dishwasher. Cuts cheese easily, with consistent slices. Great product.

We had another cheese slicer and it went walk about at some point...not sure where...but we needed another and shopping on Amazon turned up this Boska model. We liked the rating and we very much liked the one piece stainless construction.Ordered it and have been nothing but pleased with the purchase since getting it. We've used it on alot of different block cheeses and every has slice every one without issue. As expected, it is easy to clean and we're using it quite a bit with great results every time.I sort of wish it had a little more heft...it's really very light, but my wife loves the weight. In any case, it does what it's supposed to do and does it very well. Construction is excellent and despite the light weight it is not at all flimsy, but quite solid when using it...not too much flex at all.Very happy with this purchase and would order again without reserve.

somewhat expensive, but high quality. super sharp and has no problems chipping and cutting into hard cheese like Parmesan Ramano. would recommend this product and other products from this company.

We've had this for 2 years now and it still works great. It gives us perfect slices every time and we also use it to cut into blocks like a knife. We haven't had to sharpen it yet.We always hand wash our slicer and have not seen any rust or dulling.

I never understood the appeal of these before now. I don’t even know what made me buy it, but now I LOVE it. Forget the pretty cheese boards for guests, this makes the perfect cheese slices for my sandwiches! So sharp, slices so easily. Add a thin layer or pile on multiple layers.
