Good for the money
I was looking for a bait caster that wouldn’t break the bank and this fit the bill. So far no complaints as it casts and retrieves very smoothly. Will probably add a couple more in the future.

A cut above...
Any other baitcaster in the $60 or less price point in my opinion. Fish mostly weightless soft plastics with it paired to a 7 foot medium rod. Casts really well, especially if you keep it clean and properly lubricated. Find myself grabbing this one over my regular Shimano SLX much more often than I should given the $40+/- price difference.

Daiwa CC80 Baitcasting Reel High Speed- I like these so much this is my fifth one. All working perfectly. Previous models had 6.8:1 gear ratio so I do appreciate the faster speed on this one. Would definitely buy more.

Excellent Reel
I have fished since I was a kid, starting with a cane pole. Sixty years later I still love fishing. This reel has proven to be an absolute joy to use. Properly adjusted, I have not had any birdnests. I can cast long if I want, into the wind and not problems. I use this thing at least five days a week, sometimes for several hours at a time.I highly recommend this reel.

Great value easy to use
Never used a baitcaster before in my life and decided to try one out. After doing some research found this reel and got it and was impressed from the moment I got it. Easy to set up easy to use and has been producing fish for me time and time again. After the first day the only bird'snest I've had was because my worm came off while casting. Great value.
