There Is A Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Lets Keep It A Secret CD

Recently bought this as I'd never actually got the CD when it came out. It's easily the band's best record from their heavier era. Beautiful strings and electronics with brutal screamed vocals and thunderous guitar riffs.Whilst I'm a huge fan on the band's entire discography, I often find myself revisiting this one the most. Highly recommend listening of you've just started getting into the band/their older output.

Track by trackCrucify Me-This song is very powerful and stands out due its length and guitars but also features excellent vocals from singer lights which are distorted to add a loud quiet effect.I like the hook 'Pray for the dead!' as well.starts off a epic album with a epic song.9/10Anthem-A bit of a change in pace for the but for the better.The fast pace and heavy guitar works perfectly to the songs advantage.I like Oli's death growl at the end as well but the instrumental at the end is dull which brings it down a bit though.8/10It Never Ends-A heavy track which a large form of significance due to its lyrics and for good reason.The lyric 'This is a war I can't win!!!' is brilliant and is the best part of the track as well.Brilliant.10/10F***-I hate the title.2/10Don't Go-A powerful track that takes a break for lights vocals.Less heavy but more powerful.9/10Home Sweet Hole-A angry and fast paced track that is one of my personal favorites.Sort of a throwback to the first album as well.10/10Alligator Blood-My favorite.Dark and moody lyrics.Heavy guitar.A brilliant chorus.Perfect.10/10Visions-The heaviest track this song is motivating and powerful.And that comeback.... perfect.10/10Memorial/Blessed With A Curse-Memorial is boring but blessed is awesome!With oli screaming the vocal as if he can't believe what he's saying.9/10The Fox And The Wolf-Fastest song ever but completely perfect.10/10

If you already know Bring me the Horizon's sound then this album pretty much carries on where the last one left off. There are more colaborations with guest vocalists here which come in the form of clean female and male vocals in a couple of songs. The electronic sounds have been beefed up too and they play a bigger part than before. Overall this is a great album which sounds like the band have grown into the sound they started to find on the last album - mixing harsh screams with gravelly vocals and heavy guitar as well as powerful drums.Make no mistake though, the band make use of the trademark sounds of before sparingly and really create a very atmospheric album, this is not simply beatdown after beatdown broken up with clear singing a la metalcore bands. In the UK these guys are leading the pack in terms of new and contemporary heavy music.

Ok if you like that kind of thing, "Sempeternal" is a much more accomplished album and "That's the spirit" is also pretty good but id personally give their later poppy stuff a body swerve

Not really my cup of tea but my daughter loves it. Personally I love their album That's the spirit, i'll never get bored of it. Good if you like the screaming/shouting Oli.

a couple of years ago I heard some BMTH material on some music channels (no idea which songs they were!) but I hated it!!! I heard it never ends also and thought it was just an awful screaming mess!! but then last year I heard shadow moses, and then listened to the whole of sempiternal, and I was utterly blown away!! I made myself go back and listen to the earlier stuff, and heard alligator blood....AMAZING!! and based on hearing that one song I bought there is a hell...., and I haven't regretted it!!!! this cd has been blasting my ear drums nearly everyday since I bought it. crucify me, blessed with a curse, and even the one I used to hate, it never ends, are my top three songs from this album, but I love them all!! even though sempiternal remains my one true BMTH favourite, I actually am finding myself preferring Oli's vocals on this cd, and other earlier songs. this is definitely the cd for you if you are interested in hearing the early material of BMTH. brilliant. 5 stars

Habe sonst immer bei Youtube die Band gehört, dann mich aber dazu entschieden auch mal die Hardware zu holen. Gutes Album, gefällt mir. Qualität ist sehr gut :P

Gutes Album

Uno de los mejores discos de BMTH sin duda, el vinilo esta muy bien de precio y la calidad de sonido excelente.La única pega es que cada 3 canciones hay que darle la vuelta al disco y, cuando llegas a la 6, cambiar de disco. Aun así es genial, lo recomiendo.

Ich hab diese CD gebraucht über Amazon gekauft,es seien leichte Gebrauchsspuren auf der CD, dem war nichtmal so. Nur die Hülle hatte einen Riss, sonst alles wunderbar. Läuft alles!

Dieses Album ist das letzte wirklich wundervolle Werk von BMTH! Man fühlt bei jedem Song die pure Freude der Aggression und die Songs stehen für eine nahezu perfekte Metalcore Erfahrung.

Arrived safely

This cd was ordered a while ago, but was still awaiting a review, so I thought I'd better give it one. Son absolutely loved it, and downloaded it to his i-pod. He now keeps the cd in his vehicle.

Klasse Album von BMTH .Leider ist aktuell nur noch weichgespülter Chartpop von ihnen zu hören.
