Not up to standard
I have been using logitech keyboard and mice for years so I didn't think twice about buying one for work even bought a cover to keep it dust free but the S and the L stopped working and it is only 2 months old. What a waste.

I like this keyboard
I was a little apprehensive about ordering a keyboard without being able to see it, but read the many good reviews and took a chance. Im pleasantly surprised. My previous keyboard 'Logitech Internet 350 USB Desktop Keyboard' (full size corded) was purchased at the store that built my computer. I liked it quite a bit, but after nearly 3 years the numbers were wearing off of the keys, and my Caps Lock key would often stick.. requiring me to push it hard & causing it to click down. This new K200 description states 'low profile keyboard', which I wasnt sure about, as I didnt want one like a laptop, but this feels easy to type on and took very little getting use to, and tho a bit smaller than my previous keyboard (1" shorter) still seems full-sized enough that I dont feel like Im typing on some tiny thing. The description also mentions the 'white key characters', which I found is true, they are brighter white than my previous Logitech keyboard, and I feel they will be much easier to recognize, and probably not fade with time. The 'quiet touch' description seems true too, it is quieter and softer than my previous Logitech keyboard, and feels to have perfect tension in the keys. The 'media keys' are about the same as my previous keyboard, but in a different arrangement, but with the addition of the 'PC off/on' button which I think I will find very handy. The keyboard seems small enough to be neat and concise on my desk, yet full-sized in feel. I had no use for any more features; I dont type in a room with no lights on so I dont need a lighted keyboard. I considered going to a wireless model, but after reading that they can be insecure, and one has to mess with batteries I decided to stick with the cord. However, I have ordered a Logitech Wireless Mouse to give that a try, as the cord on my mouse frequently catches on things on my desk, which bugs me. I hope my review helps some people, I realize everyone has different things they like and dont like. 2-MON LATER: The keyboard is working out quite well. But I didnt like the wireless mouse, I went back to my old corded one, as the wireless has a delay that I couldnt get use to.

Flimsy
I was looking for a replacement of my Ultra-X, which is sadly out of production, and figured this logitech would be okay.It wasn't.First, the keys traveled further than on the Ultra-X. I really want a keyboard with a short key travel, like a laptop keyboard, but the K200 disappointed in that. Furthermore, the keyboard would visibly buckle every time I typed a key in the middle of the keyboard, and I really don't use a lot of force typing (used to an Ultra-X, remember?).So yeah, after trying it out for five minutes, I packed it back up to ship it back. This is definitely not the quality I am used from Logitech. Such a shame they don't make the Ultra-X anymore.

Attractive design, degrading feel
(Update 11/2012) I stopped using this keyboard after a few months. The keys became stiffer and a lot less smooth. A mechanical keyboard might be the only way to get the feel I'm looking for, but I have a number of old freebie keyboards around here that now feel better to me than the K200.(9/2011) I bought this keyboard to replace one I spilled 22oz of beer into. Given the previous keyboard's fate, I wasn't eager to spend much on a new one! I bought this K200 over the K120 because of the media buttons. I cannot live without on-keyboard volume controls, and I really like the Sleep and Calculator buttons too. The feel of the main keys is typical Logitech, if you're familiar, which I like. The media keys are far too firm though, hence 4 out of 5 stars, though I am getting used to them. I like this board's full-sized keys, yet small chassis footprint. Believe it or not I really like the look of this keyboard: the timeless style of dignified form following function. So many lower-cost products like this are over-styled. It does have flip-out risers (which I'm using) and plenty of grippy rubber feet, which is good because the board is surprisingly light weight. Bonus: the bottom has drainage holes! For $17 (prime shipping) I am very pleased. The board is surely designed to a (low) price, but it feels designed to a price well.I like using this keyboard and others with a foam palm rest. I already had an ancient one lying around, but new ones can't be more than a few bucks...
