I bought these to get away from plastic straws. The bamboo color is really nice and well done, and they hold up pretty well for drinks. They are not as durable as plastic, but they get the job done and then you can throw them away and not feel like you're adding to the plastic problem out there in the world. I'm glad we got them, we'll be ordering more once these run out.
