Melitta Cone Coffee Filter #2 100 Count- Natural Brown

I find this particular brand of Bamboo Paper filter has a Superior Flavor over the white bleached paper filters and have used them for many years. No sense being cheap over a good cup of coffee. I sue these on my 6-7 cup glass pour-over inserted in the stainless steel filter to prevent clogging the steel and making it super easy to clean; not to forget the flavor superiority over the brass or steel filters.

I've been using a reusable filter basket for years now, but I just started buying very fine ground low acid coffee and it just doesn't cut it. I was getting a ton of sludge in the bottom of the pot and having to waste so much. I looked around on amazon trying to find a reusable basket that would filter fine grounds but there aren't any. Next step was to look for paper filters I could use inside the basket. It took a lot of searching of reviews, but this one fit the bill. There were a couple reviews saying this filters out the fine grounds so I gave it a shot. The filters are a little big for a 5 cup basket, but I'm able to fold the tops down over the edge without too much of an issue. And I'm happy to say they work to prevent sludge. Will buy again.

I have both a Melitta and an Oxo Pour Over coffee brewer. These are the best filters for both. Fold over the bottom and the side, put in your coffee and let the pour over process begin. I've been using these for years and have never had any problems. They just keep on working. Highly recommended.

Once you try these filters you can never go back to anything else. These make coffee taste even more delicious even though I don't know exactly how it actually happens. All I know is that when I started to run out of these I felt the impulse to get more quickly. I normally have one mug of coffee a day in the morning. What I like about these cone filters is that they stay in place even with all that steam and water flowing through them. The coffee grounds never escape and coffee is just pure and simple and delicious. I was so happy these arrived on time because I was nearly out today! It didn't help that my husband saw my half-empty coffee cup sitting on the counter and threw it out so he could put the cup in the dishwasher. Arggg So I had to make a second cup of coffee.
