I like it better than the Spigen thing fit since it doesn't collect dust on the sides where the phone meets the case on the edges.

This is such a great case. It fits perfectly and is raised a bit on the back to protect the camera and finger ID. For the price, you can't find anything better than this! Highly recommend.

Always liked Nillkin Cases in the past but this one doesn't fit too well on the bottom right hand corner.

I really like the Nillkin Frosted Shield. I have used this same case on my past 5 phones. However, since Amazon doesn't sell this brand directly, I have a suspicion that the last two I bought (for OnePlus 5 and Pixel 2 XL) were counterfeit. They both eventually cracked in the upper corner after a couple months despite never being dropped. The Pixel 2 XL case in particular had a very poor fit and finish with jagged edges where the plastic was injected in to the mold.After this latest Nillkin failed, I decided to replace it with  Spigen Thin Fit Google Pixel 2 XL Case with SF Coated Non Slip Matte Surface for Excellent Grip for Google Pixel 2 XL (2017) - Black . The Spigen case has a similar design, allowing the phone's buttons to be uncovered, but it's a bit thicker and has a more slippery finish. I definitely prefer the Nillkin thinness and texture, but I can't buy them anymore. Either Nillkin's quality has gone downhill by quite a bit in recent years, or buying from 3rd party amazon sellers will likely result in you getting a counterfeit product.

Did not protect my husbands phone at all and the phone got damaged. He did like that it was a thin case, but it just wasn't worth to have it damaged.
