Do exactly what they were purchased to do.
Purchased to use with a rivnut tool and they do exactly the thing they were purchased for.Used these in the keyhole slots of shelving and workbench legs to allow things to be bolted to them, job done with not problems.

Prefer the round ones instead of hex
These you don’t need to drill a bigger hole to fit compared to the hex ones

Good for plastic 3D printed models.
A good kit offering a number of options that will allow M3 threads to be embedded in 3D plastic prints as part of the post-build processes. Just insert them slowly and in small stages with a soldering iron so that you don’t overdo the heating and lose control of the hole size you are inserting it in to.I use these with PLA and PETG materials with a lower powered soldering iron tip inserted into the centre. It’s also worth washing the insert in something like IPA before use so as to reduce the chance of oil contamination - I haven’t found any issues yet though.

Great value for money
Used these to attach a bed to the interior of our camper van. Couple of them faltered but think that was more the tool for them than the actual rivets

For M6 rivet nuts you need 9mm drill bit.
Rivets itself are great but you need will need 9mm drill bit to make a perfect fit hole for it. I used 8mm and drilled out a hole but it taking ages. About locking in place i make a tool but of course you can buy a proper one. Ps. Plenty video on YT. Do I recommend 6mm rivet nuts a short answer is yes.
