This mounting system works better than I expected it would. I travel via rental car regularly and needed something to be flexible to move into and out of different vehicles. This unit hold steady and protects my laptop great, especially during sudden stops. The only downfall to this unit is the lack of instructions that come with the unit for assembly. I can follow directions well, and had some difficulty with a few of the steps. All in all, you do not need to be an engineer to assemble it, bunt the company seemed to cut corners when they wrote decided what to issue as instructions.Thatball being stated, I would not hesitate to purchase another product from this company if the need presents itself. If your work requires you to regularly use a laptop while in your vehicle you will be happy with this mount. There is some vibration while driving but minimal. If you hook it up properly (per instructions), it will not slip during curves or hard stops. It is a secure mount that will protect your laptop while in your vehicle. Be sure you buy the correct size. There are different sizes for netbooks and laptops. If you buy the wrong size you will just end up having to return it for the correct one so pay attention when you first order.

Nobody can sit in the front passenger seat, which makes your friends and co-workers angry, but allows me to keep control of the radio station!Things I noticed1. The springs can be kind of loud when traveling on non-smooth surfaces.2. The mount comes loose and though the item is constructed well, I do not like wrenching it too tight.Traveled a lot with this item and plan to keep using it.

Disliked that it didnt extend up higher to clear center console. It only came with assembly instructions for tray only. Had to figure out the rest on my own looking at pictures on box. Other than that it's a good sturdy laptop mount.

Great product, assembled in about 30 mins. Still serving its purpose for about two years now.

Too hard to put together and once I got the bar part on the seat of my Ford Ranger, it wouldn't fit through or around the seat slide bar.

Works as expected. Glad I purchased it.

You can take it anywhere.Rent any car and use your laptop and keep it safe for PI work or process serving.I love mine.
