It secures to the table easily and properly. The height adjustment is very easy and feels like it won’t work loose, without having to almost over tighten it.I bought the version with red anodised metal touches and they look really, really smart.It came with a thread adapter to cater for different equipmentIt wasn’t the cheapest product out there, but this will last and I believe it was good value.

I bought this to mount my Sony ZVE-10 camera to my desk, and I'm very happy.The product is very secure and made of metal.Very good value for money. I highly reccomend it.

This thing is strong. Its holding my canon m50 mkii with a rather heavy sigma lens and doesnt have any trouble. Super happy with it.

I'm finally able to disassemble my tripod and mount my DSLR (which I use as a webcam) to my desk. Gives me so much more space. My camera has a nifty 50 on it and the camera is solid.I have other Neewer products and they are all the same. Crackin'!

Very strong in the main, but the ball-joint at the top is tricky to get level and doesn't feel 100% sturdy. Otherwise an excellent bit of kit for the money.

This handy little camera desk mount from Neweer is perfect for anybody that live streams for holding up a camera or lighting equipment, or for those of us that work from home and need to use a webcam. My webcam sits on top of a monitor, but the thin bezel around the screen means that the bottom of the camera mount sits down past the bezel, which I find quite annoying and this device solves that problem.Unlike many of these types of product, the TL283 is made from an Aluminium alloy, making it nice and strong so that it can hold devices up to 3kg in weight. When collapsed, the stand measures approximately 43cm (from the top of the clamp to the top of the mount) and this can be extended by simply loosening one or both of the locking collars and pulling the tubes before locking the collars to fix the height. The maximum height is approximately 102cm (you can of course choose any height in between).The bottom of the stand has a simple metal C-shape clamp fitted to it, which can slid over the edge of a desk and then is secured in place by tightening the thread on the bottom.The top of the stand has a simple but functional aluminium ball-head mount with a standard 1/4" tripod thread. The head can be removed if required and then a camera mounted in a fixed horizontal position using the included screw adapter, or you could replace it with a different head or a phone mount. Loosening the thumb screw on the head allows the angle of the camera to be adjusted and you have a notch to allow the camera to be turned 90 degrees for vertical shots.***** In The Box *****1 x TL283 Desk Mount1 x Ball Head1 x 1/4” to 1/4" Adapter1 x User Guide***** Conclusion *****As with a couple of other Neweer products I have used in the past, this is another great product from the brand.The quality is great with it’s Aluminium construction making it nice and sturdy and all of the parts move nice and smoothly.I like that a fixed 1/4" adapter has been included, as this makes it easy to fit my own heads and accessories, although the included ball-head is perfect for mounting small cameras or lights.I think the £34 asking price is pretty reasonable given the quality of the product, but the current 20% voucher brings it down to £27, making it even better – a product that is definitely worth considering.

This desk mount arrived well packaged in a sturdy, branded cardboard box.The box contains:• The telescopic mounting pole (with desk clamp).• A ¼” female to ¼” male pedestal adaptor.• Instructions and a customer service leaflet.I have several devices made by Neewer and I’m always impressed by the quality they produce for the price. This is no exception.This is a nice, solid bit of kit. The ball head is good quality, all metal and locks/unlocks with a ¼ turn of the lever. The telescopic pole has three sections of sturdy aluminium tube and the screw clamps are metal with a grippy rubber covering. The desk clamp itself is strong, has rubber linings and holds well without marking furniture. The ball head unscrews from a standard ¼” screw on the top section so it can easily be replaced with a more sophisticated mount if required.I got this to hold an old PTZ Axis camera (which weighs around 700g) that I use for keeping an eye on pets when I’m not in and I’ve been looking for something like this so I can move it around to different locations easily. In short mode it is rock solid and is almost as solid with the second section pulled out. Obviously, when fully extended there is a slight amount of movement if you put sideways pressure on it but this is mainly due to the flexing in the aluminium poles and it is minimal and only to be expected.This clamp also works horizontally (see picture). I tried it clamped to the top of a door and it was rock solid.I haven’t had this clamp long enough to comment on its long term durability but I’ll update this review if there’s anything to report.This is a strong, well made, versatile clamp and I’m very happy with its sturdiness and ease of use. It is also cheaper than similar mounts on Amazon so if you’re looking for a desk clamp mount to hold a camera or light I can recommend it. Five stars!
