These plates and bowls are really cool and I'm glad I bought them because they're super lightweight, easy to clean, seem to be really durable, were cheap, look pretty and you don't have to scrub them like 50 million times to get the smell of whatever food you ate previously out like regular plates that seem to want to hold on to the smell longer but I would recommend that you clean them not too long after you actually eat something in them because sometimes your food can kind of stain the material a little bit like other people say but it seems that it will come out later on but sometimes it looks like It might stain your plates or bowls at first so that doesn't really look good but later on I think it does come out but these were definitely worth buying and I'm glad I purchased them for sure.

Great 8.5" plates. As I strive to be more conscientious re our planet, I decided to give these a try. After reading the reviews and the fact that they're microwavable, I'm sold. I will no longer be buying this size paper plates at Costco! $$ saved!

I bought this because I thought they would be like cheap plastic and wouldn't stand up since they are made from grass. I was totally surprised and thrilled they are heavy duty, good quality, they don't get marked up when you use knives on them and they seem to be standing up really really well even being put in the dishwasher every day or so! and they don't break when you drop them, at least so far, but I'm sure my family will put that to the test over and over again. they're a little deeper than most plates which makes them excellent for salads or drippy stuff, they feel nice and they look nice. I will totally buy more of these! Update: Several months later on, and they are still holding up wonderfully! We use them daily, they're the families favorite dishes!

When I bought these plates and bowls it was because the colors were nice. They came as advertised in color, shape, and over all description. I have used these plates and bowls for a year now and have put them in the microwave and dishwasher and have had no issues. They hold up well, even when full of food. I do try and be mindful of not using really greasy food, but the few times I have there were no stains or damage.

Still using them every day- easy to clean, light and better than plastics. A clean choice!

Love these Wheat Bowls, they are very lightweight and perfect, for cereals and snacking, just don’t put spaghetti sauce, In them, they will stain, (as you can see In the video), with the lighter color bowl and DO NOT MICROWAVE/HEAT UP THESE WHEAT BOWLS, NO MORE THAN 3 MINUTES. I, only, microwave, In these wheat bowls, vegetables, rice, etc…rather, non-staining foods, just for a quick heating up dishes. If, you do microwave the food, these wheat bowls, does, stay, warm/hot, after microwave, which, I really dig, because, by the time, you, move, from one place, to another, your food gets cold, but, they really, keep your food warm, for a long while. These Wheat bowls/plates, can get really hot, so, be careful.

I carefully read through all the options before purchasing this set. Somehow I got the idea that the plates would be just like plastic plates. I am happy to see they are not at all like plastics.The colors are a pastel rather than the bright colors I have seen in other brands of plastic plates.In The past, I have noticed a taste to plastic plates that are supposed to be reusable. It’s hard to describe it, but I know it’s there and that was another partial fear. I had in making the decision to purchase these plates. I’m happy to say I don’t send any taste at all.My real surprise is how the plates come clean just by rinsing them in hot water. No scrubbing difficulty getting food that is stuck to a plate off of there. It’s wonderful side benefit and my daughter even did it and she said how easy it is.

The color of them are super cute. The disappointing part is the size. They are very small but perfect for a child. Also, for some strange reason they have a oily residue on them. When I wash them I have to use a lot of soap, hot water and wash them twice. Maybe they are to best for the dishwasher.
