Good Basic set
Lovely basic train set, easy enough to set up! The only downside i have found as it's a bit awkward to switch on whilst on the track as the button is on the top so hence the train tips when button pushed so doesn't line up to start and to switch it on then put it down to go is a bit awkward too but once it's on track and going it goes well.

What a wonderful gift for the whole family. Everyone absolutely loves it ... including this railway oficionado, now a Grandad fast approaching my 81st birthday!Amazing value for money ... as the box states over 100 pieces ... including the train, track, station, bridges, level crossing and tunnel. It runs on two AAA batteries and sweeps around the track at amazing speeds.The set comes complete with layout instructions and even young children would be able to put it altogether perhaps with a little help from the grown-ups.You will get endless hours of pleasure from this educational toy and unmitigated joy for all train enthusiasts.I bought the set through Amazon but found a fault with the battery connection in the locomotive. On the box, I noted Xiapia said if you experienced any difficulty then simply email them with a promise of a reply within 24 hours. They were as good as their word ... and hey ho, they sent a replacement bubble-wrapped all the way from China within a few days. Outstanding customer service.I'll need to stop this review now, the train is waiting to leave the station!

Fastest train for Brio compatible sets
This thing is a rocket. I bought both this amd the Brio turbo and immediately returned the turbo Brio, this thing leaves them all in the dust. It's the fastest train I've come across. The train feels solid too. The tracks are not good quality so I use it on my happe and Brio wooden tracks, the tunnel and bridge are nice to have but this train is honestly something else and should be the standard for speed. Everything else is painfully frustrating to look at in terms of speed.

Missing part
This was a gift, but unfortunately the last carriage that is supposed to take batteries is missing the prongs see attached photo. Support is in China and not easy to contact
