QUALITY SHAMNO DERAILER
Put on my mongoose and other mountain bike. Looks heavy duty and better than to one on it which bent easy

Replaced the original broken derailleur
It’s nothing fancy but it works well on an old schwinn.

7 speed
This is a 7 speed Der.... ( I can never spell that word) for a bike. I got it as a spare in case the one on my bike breaks or stops working correctly. But visually the part appears fine and I'm confindent that it will work correctly if I ever need it.Quality and price seem good.

Got this as a backup
This is the exact Derailleur that came stock on my E-Bike. So I got this as a backup since Derailleurs are one of the most commonly broke items on multi gear bikes. I have had zero issues with the stock one. It shifts flawlessly, even though it's one of the cheapest models they make. I have seen videos and read reddit posts where they tear the cheaper Shimano derailleurs apart, but I was a bike mechanic for 3 years and I ran these cheaper models on many of my personal bikes with no issues. The real issue is how derailleurs hang low and catch on things. That's what really breaks them, and of course lack of any maintenance at all. With minimum maintenance this derailleur should last you a good 10 years, and then pretty much all bike parts reach their planned end of life and jsut fall apart, so you have to buy replacements 😡

Really good inexpensive derailleur.
I ordered this for an old 18 speed mountain bike (3x6) I bought in a thrift store. The old derailleur was a no name brand and it was worn out. This is a huge improvement over the old one. I know this is a low end unit but it's exactly what I needed for this old bike. The install was a pain in the neck because I didn't split the chain but that's on me. I took the jockey wheels out and fed the chain in that way. Hindsight being what it is I would recommend buying a cheap chain break tool. It's going to make the install much easier. Other than that setting it up was easy. I dialed it in very quickly and I'm thrilled with the way it shifts. Next up is the front derailleur.
