Updated Review based on replacement
UPDATED REVIEW~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I originally gave this product a 1 star review due to issues with adding the switch and/or USB extension cables that dropped the fan revolutions down to almost zero making them unusable with any kind of extension lead. In one test, 2 of the 3 fans failed to spin up and the 3rd barely made more than a few revolutions a second. The company reached out to me after I returned the unit and offered to send me a free replacement to test which I received and checked out. As a result I have amended my review to 5 stars for 2 reasons...1. They followed up on a returned item2. The replacement fan set worksI did let them know up front I would only amend my review if the replacement worked and the new one was received very quickly so Kudos for their "customer support".To test the replacement I used a 40W USB PSU and just plugged the fan in without any other cables in-lined. The fans spun up fast and the air flow was obviously present. Something that was not as obvious with the earlier unit. This new unit definitely moves air.I then added the inline switch. I noticed a tiny drop in the fan/air noise but it was minor. It still moved a lot of air. Then I removed the inline switch and tested 2 different length (18" and 36") and different manufacturers USB extension cables. There was a very slight drop in the fan/air noise but again minor. Amount of air flow was obvious and would definitely cool whatever sits on it or it sits atopFinally, I added the switch inline and then each of the USB extension cables. The fan noise/airflow was a little more noticeable but the fans are still spinning fast and the amount of air being pushed out is clearly obvious and capable of cooling whatever sits on it or it sits atop.So all in all, while there is a small level of resistance added by adding in-line USB cables that causes a slight drop in the air flow, it's minimal and the amount of air flow would be more than enough to help significantly reduce the temperature of a Surround Sound Processor. So it is clear now that the first unit received was defective. The seller had felt this was most likely and we concluded that the problem was likely to be simply a wiring defect in the 3-to-1 molded cable connection. The new unit definitely works so I have no concerns changing my review and giving the seller and the product a 5 star review (for their follow-up service and the product doing what it is supposed to do).ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED SWITCH CABLE OR A USB EXTENSION LEAD....The problem is, this simply doesn't work as advertised UNLESS you plug the unit directly into a USB source without ANY extension leads. Why is this a problem? Because the silly inline extension switch lead they provide is so short, 12" and the switch is bang in the middle... you can't reach the darn switch to turn it off or on.. So I tried 3 different USB extension leads, One was only 18" in length. With one of the extension leads the 2 of the 3 fans wouldn't turn on and the 3rd was barely spinning and moving air.So I tried a 120V 40W USB PSU and got exactly the same results. I then tried the fans with NO extension leads or inline switch... That worked in various USB outlets and PSUs. Put the switch in-line and there was a detectable drop in fan noise which meant a reduced spin rate/air flow. I then tried this with extension leads and no inline switch, the fan noise was even more noticeably lower slower spin rate.Conclusion...Good : Without any inline switch or extension lead, yes this will work and the air flow was noticeable.Bad : With the inline switch or any USB extension lead and their is an obvious problem which causes the fans to slow. In one example I tried only 1 of the 3 fans would spin up and that was barely enough to feel air flow.Maybe the unit I was sent has a defective cabling (each fan is wired into a molded connector). I returned it and for slightly more money I'm trying a 120V variable controller 3 fan unit which uses 12V 120mm Fans. I can adjust the CFM and noise to match my requirements. The problem unit uses 5v 120mm fans.

Nice fan for the money
Fan arrived quickly, works great for cooling electronics. Fan does make some noise but after all, it is two high speed fans. Powers up easily from USB outlet.

Nosey little Fans
I got the 3 fans in one, and I needed to cool off some computer equipment. It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be (I could have gone with a single fan), but it worked and kept my device cool. The downside was the humming and vibrating from the fan which was a bit much for my little desk. I returned it since the device that was overheating I returned I no longer needed the Fam s. I may buy them again for a future project but just as a single.

It's two fans for the price of one!
This bad boy sits on top of my NUC build and helps pull more air out of the top than the smaller fans, as they'd get loud during heavy gaming. This helps quiet things down a bit.I've got another set that sits in my network cabinet and runs 24/7 to move hot air off of my modem and router so they don't cook while sitting in the cabinet hidden from view (what we do for our ladies). All in all, very nice product for the price and you could probably even mod this to use your own 120mm fans that you've got lying around should an original fan die on you.

A solution to an issue
Works great. I was having issues with the router overheating on hot days sitting in the garage. The router sits on top of the fans keeping it cool and the fans run off the usb port. It doesn't take much power so plugging it into the router is fine. If you have something else plugged into the other usb port on the router like a ssd drive it would be best to use a external usb ac power adapter for the fans.
