Brilliant stuff. Value for money. Not to bulky . Used this to make a quilted jacket and it looks great. Nice and light. Highly recommend

Good value cotton batting - 130g/SQM weight
This is the second order I have made of this. The last time was for some microwaveable heat pads I made so it had to be 100% cotton and fairly stable. I found it to be soft and malleable while being stable enough for machine sewing. I found this order to be of the same quality and am very happy with it. It is being used as padding on sleeve and ironing boards. Some may find it thin but it has exceptional insulation properties.

Wonderful to qui;t with!
The only reason for a 4 is that it was thinner than expected: there's virtually nothing there! Saying that it performed brilliantly under the needle! So much so I'm willing to give it a go at lowering my feet again and go with the flow! A card came with it showing that there is a thicker version of this but I can't find it on Amzon. It also washed brilliantly and there is hardly any need for the iron! Gorgeous! I wish it was a little thicker!

Good quality and value for money
This batting is really nice. Comes in two pieces which is great for smaller projects and I thought very good value. I used some for a new runner, as pictured and it quilted easily. Really pleased with it too.

Perfect product
Lovely fabric, very easy to use, it is washable, a great size. Used to make my first cot quilt, but has lots of other uses. Would buy again.

Excellent for a baby's quilt
I bought this to make my first cot quilt for my soon to be born grandchild. I picked it because it's made of cotton and is all natural. When I first opened it I thought it was very thin but after a couple of days of being opened, it fluffed up a bit. Which is absolutely fine. I didn't want anything too thick. It is easy to work with and not at all 'slippy' which is an issue I had with some nylon wadding. I can see I'll be getting all my wadding from here now as it is just so good.

Good and not so good
Firstly, this is the perfect weight for making a comforter style quilt. The one I made (pictured) didn’t need lots of definition with the quilting, the quilting is visible but not particularly puffy. It feels lovely and soft and was much nicer than the heirloom one I used previously in that respect. The result was a lovely soft quilt. Now the ‘however’. By the time I’d made the quilt sandwich there was dust from the batting EVERYWHERE! The fine mesh backing from one side of the batting loosens and comes of quite easily, so I’m not sure if it will gradually fall apart in the quilt or not. And while I was sewing, I kept finding little balls of fluff from the batting laying on the quilt surface. So, it’s good and bad. I know people have been saying they washed it first and it fell apart, but it does say on the packaging not to wash it before it is contained inside an item.I am pleased with the quilt and how it looks and feels. I just wish it didn’t leave such a mess in its wake
