Onida 108 cm (43 inches) Full HD Smart LED Fire TV 43FIF3 (Black)

Bought it on the launch day itself trusting Amazon. Overall build quality is decent. But there is an issue signing up of the TV with the Amazon account and it doesn't allow to use any app features. So it's working only as a basic non-smart TV. Hope the installation team will solve the issue.Update:I'm happy to say that the team of Amazon and Onida has done a marvelous job in customer service. They have put in all the efforts and resolved the issue by working on it every day. I've got multiple visits by the Onida team and calls from Amazon technical team to check the status after their background updates to the device. I'm delighted with the customer service.What I like:1. Fire OS is very smooth and clean. Booting time is about 40 secs but lag free once loaded.2. All the compatible apps are available for download.3. Display is very crisp and vivid.4. Seamless display mirroring from mobile and Bluetooth connectivity with my Blaupunkt soundbar.5. Alexa is working flawless.6. Outstanding customer service.What I don't like:1. Sound output is loud but flat. It's the same problem with all the LED TV's with these box speakers. So happily using the soundbar.Final verdict:As a newly launched product there might be few issues but, Amazon and Onida has given their best to fulfill the trust kept on them. I'm happy with the product and it's the best bang for the buck considering that Fire OS and outstanding customer service.

I bought this on July and within 3 months the remote started working like it haunted. If I press one key the TV responded with other. Back key will act like enter up key works like back key and so on.I tried using fire tv remote app from play store, it solves the problem a bit but still if I use STB remote, the TV responded like hell… if I change a channel in my STB remote, it changes to Netflix or prime.The customer service of Onida is nightmare. The local service person who does installation has no clue what to do and said ‘if I bought from the vendor they would have replace TV, but since I bought from Amazon they don’t know what to do’. I don’t understand this statement. He tried to factory reset stuff which anybody used smart phone knows the troubleshooting method. I don’t know what kind of technician he is.Even I called Onida India customer care they registered a complaint and no action so far. For more than 10 days I’m trying to get this resolved but worst response from them. They keep telling like, “we understand your problem the issue will be resolved in 48 hours “ nothing else. I want to check their clock which stays within 48 hours forever.Don’t fall into Onida’s old brand name.I say never ever think about buying it. I never suggest this and this brand to any of my friends, strangers and not even to enemies.If there is an option to give minus stars I will gladly give -5 stars.

For the price point the TV is wonderful

I am writing this after a couple of this month's usage, bought this for office purposes. Connected this to my laptop and using it as a bigger screen. Apart from my office purpose, the TV serves betterPros: IF you are in Amazon echo system already this will be the best choice for you, I do own an Echo dot, Amazon fire stick for my primary TV, and a heavy hy amazon prime user. Good sound enough to cover my bedroom, Fire OS was smooth and I never faced any slowness issues. I am am a very heavy user I use this TV as a monitor for 8 hours of office work and after that at least one or two hours of TV. It does meet all my expectations Picture quality and build quality was up to the mark. You can control your TV with Echo dot & even from fireTV appCons: It comes with a Bluetooth remote, however, it was very cheap plastic. The remote comes with Original firetv was so good but this one was pathetic. NOt sure how to get one if the remote was broken. The wall mount option was too small, you have to buy one separately if you want to move the TV frequently. Content access from Pendrive is not listing so friendly if you have multiple folders s in your pen drive and if you are looking to search for something it takes plenty of timeFinal Verdict: If you already in Amazon Echo system its a good buy, wait for the perfect day like prime day sale you will get it for 10K including bank offers, but you also can look into the recent one plus TV

Fire tv os performs better and any android tv or Google tv on its similar price range.App loading and performance is just amazing for sub 18000 price tv. Color are good but not brightness one will wish it should be a little bright. Speaker are just okay, no bass what so ever just to get work done.One thing I hate is HDR, it's implementation is so poor. Netflix and Amazon prime titles with HDR looks poor the it's SDR tv shows and movies.I just wish it can be turned off completely.
