Super fun for kids - a bit flimsy
Our kid loves it!Some details:Conducive to learning: 5/5 - One thing that's a pet peeve of mine is when the 9 and 6 letters on number puzzles look exactly the same and the kid has to just know that one is supposed to be flipped. It causes a lot of confusion when learning letters. For that reason, I thoroughly appreciate how the 9 and 6 in this puzzle do actually look different, and aren't just the same shape but different colors.Durability: 3.5/5 - The pegs seem to be glued in, and one came undone. I could be mistaken, I'm not a glue expert so take this with a grain of salt, but it looks like hot glue was used to glue the pegs into the puzzle, which doesn't seem like the most effective type of glue for wooden toys. Regardless of the type of glue used, the peg did come unglued, despite the fact that our kid wasn't playing with it too roughly. However, if that happens it's a pretty simple matter of glueing it back together. The wood itself is pretty durable, so it hasn't resulted in any splinters or actual wood breakage.Fun: 5/5 - Like I said, my kid absolutely loves it. Great for helping learn numbers and counting. There are a lot of pieces so they will get lost, but that's to be expected and not something I hold against the toy itself. I would recommend keeping this toy in a singular location or bringing it out for special occasions to minimize the risk of losing pieces (or losing them permenently).Colors: 4/5 - One slight issue I take with this toy is that the orange and red color on the 9 and 10 look very similar. While everyone percieves color slightly differently, both my kid and myself have a bit of a hard time telling the colors apart (unless they're right next to one another in a well lit environment), so the orange and red circles tend to end up on the same peg. This isn't enough of a problem to drop the rating down to four stars though - the joy on my kid's face when playing with this toy is plenty to warrant a five star review!

Learning toy
Colorful toys and great for children! I think the quality is really good - no missing pieces when they arrived. I think learning as soon as possible is essential - even if just playing because the pieces are colorful

There are small parts…colors are vibrant
We had taken away the little counting rings that go on the pegs for this board…they are a choking hazard and I didn’t love how small they are so I stuck them in a bag for now to save for when my toddler is older and doesn’t stick things into their mouth constantly. The wood is great quality the colors bright and vibrant…the numbers are cut well but I feel like some could be adjusted so they could fit either way better (like the 3 has to be a specific way to fit in and upside down it won’t fit..the 6 and 9 aren’t interchangeable but look so close my kiddo has gotten frustrated with them).. the shapes are great sort of random however with shapes and then math related which seemed odd but I can see useful for in the future (addition, subtraction, division, greater/less than sign, and the equals sign all just seemed so odd to be placed with shapes to me…).Besides the little rings for the pegs to count I do really like this board. It does feel like it could be geared towards older kids than toddlers to me however…and I’m sure as my little gets older it’ll have use for them to work with math problems but for now we use it to just introduce numbers and colors. The cost to me is always so high for any wooden puzzle type boards…this one was on the lower cost end. We have lost the number 1 already (got this for birthday in July and it’s now December so somehow it kept all but one piece!)…I wish we could get replacement numbers or parts for the board tho..

My 2 year-old granddaughter loves it!
I got this for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday, and she loves it! She does not know all the numbers yet, but she is good with puzzles and loves to count things. She matches the colored rings with the colored number symbols, and has noticed that there are more rings for the ten piece than the one piece. It is great for fine motor development as well as the obvious academic concepts. I expect her to grow into the concepts it teaches naturally as she plays with it, which goes along with the Montessori mindset.Great purchase all around!
