Absolutely not FULL HD
For $55 I didn’t expect much, but I am so disappointed in the picture quality. This makes an extremely grainy image.

Runs own software no need to plug in device.
When I ordered this I genuinely thought it was just a projector. Turns out it has its own built in software so you don't need to even hook it up to a device to play things.Stick in a USB and play direct! It comes with HDMI and optical out and is VERY lightweight!
