I let my lil boy pick out his 2 favorite designs and ordered them. These are cute designs and my kid likes the designs on them. We got the shark and dinosaur. Major downside is the drawstring and waistband. When I opened them and saw the design of the swim shorts, I was immediately disappointed. The waistband was already twisted. There's also no way my 5 year old can go to the bathroom and retie the string by himself. It's too short and thin. It's kinda slippery when wet. In the one swim shorts, the string came untied and fell out before I realized it, so now I need to restring it (which I know isn't awful but still). Luckily we saw the string in the pool so could get to it before it was lost. So the second shorts, I tied a knot on both sides so it couldn't slip through the holes as easily. Well by the time I tied the knots to keep it from slipping and then did the bowtie to keep the shorts up, the drawstring was about out of string. First trip to the bathroom- nightmare. I couldn't get it untied- all the knots were getting mixed up. It was a pain all day. If I don't use the drawstring then they fall off my lil guys bum. Also the waistband twists. Just a pain. Had I known this, I would not have purchased. I read other reviews but I guess didn't catch on to this. I have a good friend who sews and fixes stuff so I'm going to see if she can help me. I just wanted a regular pair of swim shorts with elastic. Doh!!

Material is good, stretches well and keeps its form. Our son has always been smaller size so the size is perfect, but I would recommend sizing up if you child is in a higher percentile. Shorts are an elastic like the shirt.

Fit is okay, material has a little bit plastic feel but not too bad. My main complaint is that the top doesn’t come with zip as the picture shows. The main reason I’m buying this suit is because the picture shows there is a zip for easy putting on. I’m not returning it since my son need it immediately but just want other buyers to be aware of it.

So I really like this for my son. Its a super cute print and fits him really well. The only downside it that the swim trunks are the same material that womens bathing suits are usually made of. My son is currently working on potty training and doesnt understand that he doesn't have to totally take his pants off to go potty. So trying to get these back on after when theyve been wet from swimming was a pain in the butt.

From my wife: This was cute, but it got returned. The top part with stripes was very plastic feeling, and the sleeves were sticking to it when I got it out of the package so I knew that would keep happening and would be annoying. Cute suit, just not for me. I would have loved it for my son if the top was all the same material.

This swimsuit set fits my son perfectly, and he looks very handsome in it. He has complete freedom of movement in it, and boy can he go!It's a great swimsuit. He's a size four, and we ordered him a size four. Great fit!

My Son loves the shark swim suit and he loves anything and everything with a shark. The shirt fit well, and the shorts are a bit lose at the waist and would have been good to have a drawstring to tighten the shorts.

Very happy with this surf suit! I was afraid it would run small but I am happy to say it runs slightly large. Material is constructed well and the colors are vibrant. I would not hesitate to purchase this surf suit- especially if you don't want to pay an arm & a leg for the fancy British version.
