It is perfect! I really enjoy it and I was shocked that many people who reviewed it complained about the smell - it's a brand that is environmentally conscientious, like Noodlers - made out of veggies so that's why it has a particular smell and it will eventually go away! But if you need it to go away, research Noodler Brand because they have recommendations for anyone who is a little sensitive to the smell at first! And it's worth it because it's a great experience at a low cost! I just don't think it was fair to blame the seller or whatever because a little research will take you a long way! It's definitely a worthy brand and for a nice little Piston fountain pen with some flare, the price is hard to beat! Honestly I think everyone can enjoy this pen! And if you don't know about fountain pens that are Piston models, you should research it before buying, not blame the seller if you can't use it. I'm not trying to be critical, I just wanted to give the seller props for lightening fast service for international shipping! Tracking was easy and it was here in record time! The pen came in a nice little velvet pouch that had a nice bit of room and had the brand's name embroidered in it! I love the design - very cute and attractive with gold trim bringing out the magenta coloring perfectly! Very nice glide along the paper, and is an everyday writer for sure! Highly recommend!

Nice pen, good feel, smooth writing but will blot your ink. Doesn’t do it all the time.
