Great product brought down by HORRIBLE labeling and instructions
Despite the low review, every cup I've had so far has been very tasty. However, due to the instructions, nutrition labels, and overall product presentation, I cannot recommend this purchase to anyone trying bubble tea at home for the first time.Following the instructions on the back of the drink powder bags will yield 24 cups of tea—not 36, as advertised. To make 36 cups of tea, reduce the proportions to 2 tbsp powder and about 3.5 to 4 fluid oz. hot water. With about 3 tbsp cooked tapioca pearls (about 2 tbsp uncooked tapioca pearls) and about 1/3 cup of ice (this is 7 ice-cubes for me), the drink should fit in an 8 oz. cup.The listed serving size, 10g of powder, is also unrealistically small and VERY inconvenient to calculate. (The fact that it makes the jump from metric to US measurements doesn't help!) For those of us who can't multiply by 17/4ths or 17/6ths in our heads, here are the calorie counts for normal serving-sizes of drink powder (no tapioca pearls added):* For Milk Tea, Thai Tea, and Lychee flavors, a 3-tbsp serving is actually 191 calories and a 2-tbsp serving would be about 128.* For Taro and Mango flavors, a 3-tbsp serving is 149 calories and a 2-tbsp serving is 99 calories.* For Coconut flavor, a 3-tbsp serving is 213 calories and a 2-tbsp serving is 142 calories. The instructions on the back of the tapioca pearls are notably better, though as other reviewers have noted, it takes closer to half an hour to cook than the "5 minutes" advertised on the bag. The serving size proportions in the nutrition facts are also significantly closer to what someone would actually eat. However, unless you are planning on making 6-8 cups of bubble tea within a couple days, I would advise against cooking 1 cup at a time. I find that 1/2 cup of tapioca pearls (cooked in 4 cups of water) yields about 3-4 servings. While the bubble tea itself is on par with anything I could get at a store, the labeling and instructions make it unreasonably difficult to figure out how much of what product I should expect to eat. I strongly encourage Fusion Select to update its packaging and labels to more accurately reflect the (again, excellent) product, rather than hindering it.

LOVE THIS BOBA KIT
This kit is super easy to use and only took 3 mins total to make. It was very sweet so I suggest adding a bit of extra milk if you don't like that. Overall I loved it and will be buying this again.

So easy!
Completely scrumptious! I live in a rural area and don't have access to a bubble tea shop. This is easy, fast and tastes wonderful. The pearls feel like you're chewing on little gummies. I'm reordering.

really not great
i mean - i should have known this wasn’t going to be great. but i optimistically purchased this anyways… and it sucked. the boba was somehow powdery and also chewy, and the tea was nasty. just bad. go drive somewhere and get the real thing. stop right now. don’t buy this.

It’s BOBA TIME
Dear Father who art in Heaven - THANK YOU for the gift of boba on Earth.Ok ok honest review. The tapioca pearls say “ready in 5 min” on the front but if you follow the directions on the back you’ll need about 30 min to make the pearls. I am obsessed so I usually just make enough pearls so I can have some later (they aren’t quite as chewy later in the day but still good) the tea is super easy and quick to make - do nottttt add sugar until you have tried it first. The restaurant I order from is better BUT... I spend over $5 for one - this box will save money in your wallet while still allowing you to have enough boba around to feed your addiction. All of the flavors I have tried so far are AWESOME.10/10 recommend and will definitely buy again.

Great kit!
This kit is great! I’ve never made boba tea before, so I was a little worried I wasn’t going to be able to figure out how to do it, but, this kit had great instructions and came with the tea flavors, the tapioca pearls and the straws. It took about 25 minutes to make the tapioca balls, and they came out perfectly. The tea flavors aren’t sweet, so if you prefer a sweeter drink, you will need to add a syrup or sugar. All in all, I’m super happy with this purchase. I’m not sure how many drinks this will make, but I used a cup of dried pearls for 3 large drinks, and we still have a ton left.

Nasty
I guess knowing that its in a pre made package I should have known it would be nasty. Just disappointed .

Not good!
Gross. Tastes chalky. Boba isn’t even good. It’s like goo, not boba balls.
