Speks Spokes Magnetic Building Set, Stress Relief Fidget Toys for Adults with 24 Magnetic Bars, 10 Metal Ball Bearings, and a Plastic Storage Case

I ordered this for my 8-year-old son because he has been getting into those magnetic blocks, and I thought this looked really fun for him and probably for me. These are a little bit smaller, and they come with a plastic case. The case could be difficult for some smaller children who won't be able to open or close it properly and may need assistance. It takes a bit of work to make sure they all fit in here well too, so only certain age groups would be able to pull that off unless you just keep them in something else that's a little bit bigger and easier. They are really interesting and fun. My son actually incorporates these into his magnetic block set and uses them both together. Sometimes when you try to connect to that do not magnetize there's that crazy feeling of pushback that is fascinating because it's so strong. These would be great for traveling with kids in the car to keep them occupied as long as they don't lose the little metal balls. The balls are actually incredibly small so you will want to be careful they don't get lost or that animals or small children don't put them in their mouth. Obviously, these won't work around babies or very young children since they could just swallow them. Never I go in my son's room at night I will find random metal balls from this kit, and I keep telling him he needs to be more careful or he's going to lose them. No complaints here, these are fun.

This seems like a nice quality desk fidget. I already knew the Speks name as my kids have some of their other fidget toys. My daughter has already stolen this off my desk and claimed it for her own (we will see). I like the color options available and I think that lends to it being a fidget for a professional setting like in the office or works just as well at the home office desk. The carrying case is a nice feature and seems like it will hold up for a while unless the kids beat it up. I think this will really help keep the pieces organized and separated. I think the listing referenced a shape guide in the packaging which I did not see in mine but I think coming up with your own designs is half the fun.

So I work with kids in a therapeutic setting and oftentimes notice a need for free-form objects for them to get creative with. I've had kids use this set to "create" a house, building, planet, and even volcano...as you can tell, their imaginations run wild! My only hesitation with this product is that I think it is very easy to lose. The magnetic balls and sticks are very small, and I could very easily see one of them rolling under a rug or couch and never being seen again. Granted, this set is designed for adults, but still.

My daughter, who is 9, is a super busy body that can't sit still, and so I keep a variety of sensory items in the house to keep her busy. We have other Speks items that she can't seem to put down and figured I would add this to her collection. It comes in a really nice box, and that includes a plastic case to place all the pieces in. Each piece feels solid in the hand, and nothing feel cheap nor flimsy. Build quality is great, with no manufacturing defects.Overall, a great gift for that fidgeting one, or someone who likes desktop gadgets at work as well.

Being careful not to let our toddlers have access to these magnets, my older children love to play with these while I read to them for homeschool. They keep their hands busy and their minds creative.

This is a great set of magnets. They are fun to play with and will keep you busy. These would make a great gift for all ages. The magnets are strong and nice looking.

The media could not be loaded.  I like the color and the size. Magnets are a great strength without needing to fight them to take apart. Endless building options. The material is durable and easy to clean. Storage case is great but a little difficult to open. My favorite part is the calming effect while playing with them. They are soothing!
