We used this as a play pen for my hens. Am happy with the actual product itself. The top is difficult to put on “securely.” You need to tighten it to have a firm fit which doesn’t always work, sometimes it loosens and the top will have an opening in a corner.Caution for chicken owners: if you decide to use this as a “play pen”, you need to put chicken wire on the outside of it. The metal openings are large enough for chickens to get their heads through. One of my hens had her head through, pecking at grass, and I discovered a hawk next to the play pen, and clawed her head. My chick died, head poking through the opening and clawed. I will not use this again.

Bought this so that I could keep my dogs out from under foot when doing chores in the house or outdoors, it’s perfect for both inside and outside. Has a tent like top to keep them shaded, perfect size, easily assembled. Easy to take down and bring with you. Clips so top doesn’t fall off of the wind blows. Would recommend.

Purchased the pen to use for chicken but the cover was difficult to put on & would not stay in place. The pen itself stayed up well but did not end up meeting our needs. Would not purchase again. The pen went together easily although trying to move it was difficult as it would come apart quickly leaving gaps in the circle.

Loved the concept and size but my hens knocked it over the first day. Maybe my Texas hens are just too rough! Had to return it.

Have 17 Cornish cross in basement that grew out of the original brooder set up.This fence system with a heavy plastic tarp works perfectly. Gives the chicks plenty of room and is easy to clean.This fence set up in four x four with a 6x8 ft tarp clomped to the sides makes a perfect bathtubs enclosure. Added another heat source with a larger watered and have happy chicks
