Died after a year which is highly unusual. Great, Fast Little drive. Good for the raspberry pi if you don't need a lot of storage. and very cheap. i ended up going with another one though (sorry sk hynix) because I wanted a cache which, if you don't know, speeds up the write performance until it fills and then re-empties as it writes to the nand. i enjoyed it while it lasted. It was weird, i probably only used it for only like 1000 hours and barely wrote anything to it so i must have lost the lotto. It was good while it lasted. Have a good one. God bless.

All of the drives I received appear to have different partition layouts and there is several hundred gigabytes of read/write per nvme-cli which would imply these are lightly used. They still appear to work fine.

If you have a open m.2 slot and are using an hdd as a boot drive, switching to a ssd boot drive like this is hands down the best upgrade you can do on a pc for under $20. Basic system operations (like booting) run 5x faster.Its a small size, so i wouldnt recommend as storage, but as a boot drive it is very fast and a great bargain.

Drive works great once i figured out the issue. purchased this drive for a raspberry pi 5 nvme hat and had no issues with the initial install. after installing an OS and attempting to use the pi it was very unstable and while troubleshooting i touched the nvme drive it was extremely hot. the storage and controller appear to be a single chip and get very hot in use and flakes out. after removing the label and adding a small heatsink the drive has performed without issue.

I was unsure about this little drive. But Im impressed. Ive tested it out with 10 different OS(Windows 10 and 9 flavors of linux. And it's a perfect boot drive. W10 booted in 10 seconds, most of the linux distros booted in like 8-10 seconds. But 2 Distros, Lubuntu &Sparky linux...well lets just say I couldturn on mini pc turn around to grab my coffee and when I turned back and looked at the screen, it was up and ready to go. I'm planning to use this as my main boot drive for my server.

I tried this with an CFE adapter for Nikon Z9. No go. Camera just won't talk to it. Green access lamp just stays on.This SSD works fine with two different CFE card readers. Other SSDs work fine with the Z9 and the same CFE adapter. Oh well.Otherwise good and cheap SSD. It goes into a thumb drive enclosure.

It was cheap enough to be a viable alternative to flash drives. I put it in a USB 3 enclosure and ran a benchmark. You likely won't get this much speed for any cheaper.
