Great solid hand cream, smells amazing, a little greasy but socks in well, makes a lovely secret Santa or stocking filler, comes in a lovely tin and last ages. Works well lovely soft hands

Smells great, a bit like a Thornton's Orange Chocolate Cream but I think I'd buy something in a tube or bottle next time (Yes I know, not very eco friendly. I'll recycle. ) as it all feels a little messy once applied and takes a good while to sink in. Lovely tin though, worth the purchase in itself.

I bought this as a gift. Lovely packaging and a beautiful bar of moisturiser. I've tried it and it's a lovely hand moisturiser with a lovely fresh scent (orange/lime). In my experience, it soaked in well to my hands and left my skin soft, and was not sticky or tacky afterward. This is going to last a long time because after 5 months of using it most days it still retains its original shape and pattern. So, looks like being good value too. The tin is larger than the bar but this doesn't seem to matter in the use or carrying of the bar. It's great for cutting out plastic packaging and rather lovely as a gift and useful item.

I love that this is an all natural product with eco packaging (even the film bag betwixt soap and tin is biodegradable/compostable). The packaging is also attractive and easy to wrap as a gift. The bar is very small, however and size/weight is not mentioned in the main product description or bullet points. Size is given under the additional product information BUT THE DIMENSIONS GIVEN, ARE OF THE TIN AND NOT OF THE SOAP WITHIN ... THE SOAP ITSELF IS APPROX 6 X 4 X 2CM (IT IS NOT APPROX 9CM LONG AS STATED).I appreciate though that it is possibly more concentrated than hand-cream in cream form. I find it best to use as a night treatment on hands and also on harder skin ... knees, heels, elbows etc rather than on hands by day (which soon gets washed off anyway). Once applied, skin feels tacky for the first 5 minutes and then feels silky thereafter. I've only used it in temperatures of about 16 deg, so cannot comment on how it would behave in a heatwave (you may need to keep it in the fridge then).

It is quite rare that I come across a product which I believe is so good that it stands heads and shoulders above any others, however, in this case I can quite honestly say that these hand cream bars are amazing, and the best I have ever tried! I bought them because a few of my friends had previously ordered from The Edinburgh Natural Skin Care Company, and all raved about the quality of the products. To sum up in as few words as possible, these hand cream bars leave my skin incredibly soft, and the effects last so much longer than others I have previously tried. Even after washing my hands a few times I can still feel the benefits of the product. They are not greasy, not oily, but just leave a lovely soft sheen on the skin. They also have beautiful fragrances - not at all overpowering - just very pleasant.It is probably worth mentioning that my husband is a gardener, and despite his initial, dismissive response to trying these bars, he is now hooked and he says his hands have never felt so good!Wonderful hand creams - try them and you will be converted!
