Does the job. I wasn't really looking at the specifics when I ordered but it does what it's supposed to do.

This desoldering wick works great! It arrived on time and in good condition! It really conducts heat, so you need a little more time to get the temperature up and for the solder to flow. Once it gets going, it sucks up the excess solder without a problem!

This is a pretty basic product - finely braided copper mesh that wicks up hot solder. It did exactly what it needed to. Make sure your soldering iron tip is very clean so it transfers heat quickly through the wick, and make sure it's hot enough to quickly melt the solder. Use repeated short applications of heat. Switch to a new section of wick often. The wick may stick to the board if there's a solder bond between them - don't pull it loose since it might leave some little wire strands behind, just add another touch of heat until the solder is melted and pull the wick loose. Then switch to a new section of wick. It took me some trial and error but in the end it got the job done.
