Mossy Oak Gun Oil - CLP Gun Lubricant
Excellent CLP – Reliable, Easy to Use, and Great ValueI’ve been using the Mossy Oak Gun Oil CLP for several months now, and it has quickly become my go-to solution for firearm maintenance. This product truly lives up to its promise as a cleaner, lubricant, and protectant. It makes the entire cleaning process easier and more efficient—especially for someone who prefers to keep things simple without sacrificing quality. As a cleaner, it does a great job breaking down carbon buildup, powder residue, and grime, even in harder-to-reach areas like inside the slide or chamber. It softens up gunk quickly and wipes away clean without requiring too much scrubbing. That alone would make it worth the price. As a lubricant, it provides just the right amount of slickness to keep parts moving smoothly. I’ve used it on everything from semi-auto pistols to shotguns and ARs, and it has consistently helped reduce friction and wear on contact points. It doesn’t leave behind a greasy or sticky layer, which is something I really appreciate—especially when storing firearms. Its protective qualities are just as strong. After applying a thin coat, I’ve noticed no signs of rust or corrosion even after exposing some of my guns to humid or damp environments during transport or storage. It provides a durable barrier that gives peace of mind when it comes to long-term storage. The bottle design makes application easy and controlled—no mess, no waste. I also like that the smell is mild and not overpowering like some other oils I’ve tried, which makes it easier to use indoors without needing to ventilate the entire room.Overall, Mossy Oak’s CLP is a dependable, high-quality product that delivers on all fronts. Whether you’re a regular shooter or a casual range-goer, this is a smart addition to any cleaning kit. It saves time, works effectively, and offers great value for the price. I’ll definitely be buying more when I run low.

Works great. You can’t go wrong with
I have always used cleaning products for my guns. I was told about CLP by a relative. I did res and found several different companies that used CLP. I went with This brand because of name recognition. It worked flawlessly and this is all I will ever use. My son said they used CLP in the Marines for cleaning their weapons. That right there tells me all I need to know.

Approved by John Wick. And my very happy, very deadly firearms.
Look, I’ve used a lot of gun oils in my time. Some were too sticky. Some smelled like they were brewed in the back of a monster truck rally. One turned my slide into a slip-and-slide during a firefight — not ideal when you're trying to avenge your dog and dodge bullets simultaneously. But this gun oil? This stuff is the real deal.First off, the application was smoother than my suit collection. Just a few drops and my 9mm started purring like a well-fed assassin cat. Slide action? Butter. Trigger pull? Clean like a conscience I pretend to have. It’s like giving your firearm a spa day followed by a pep talk.Smell? Subtle. Masculine. Like gunmetal and quiet vengeance. Not overpowering — because if I can smell your lube from across the safe house, we’ve got problems. And longevity? I ran this oil through a training session, two raids, and a casual hallway shootout with zero issues. No gumming, no residue, no “why is my Glock crying?” Just pure, reliable performance. If I ever leave a will, I’m putting this stuff in it.Bottom line: I trust this oil like I trust my tailor — with my life and my legacy. If you want your weapon to perform like it’s being chased by every mercenary in New York, this is your juice.

Good CLP, might cause nausea if breathed in or touches skin
Unstucked my ruger mk 4 mag release button, but gave me bad nausea after cleaning it in the bathroom and getting some of it on my hand. Wear gloves and mask as they mention. I'll probably try a different non toxic brand next time.

Does exactly what it says
One of the things I really like about this gun oil is its rust prevention properties. Living in a humid area, rust is always a concern, but since I started using Mossy Oak Gun Oil regularly, I haven’t noticed any signs of corrosion—even after exposure to moisture during hunting trips. The oil applies smoothly, isn’t too thick or sticky, and doesn’t have a strong or unpleasant odor. It also penetrates well into moving parts, reducing wear and tear, which gives me confidence in my firearm’s reliability.
