I used this to build a boil kettle controller and a glycol chiller controller. Worked great for both recommend a small fan to vent box well for boil kettle haven't had any temp with it for my chiller. It's awesome that's it's got a weather seal as I bumped my chiller and water splashed directly on the side on the seal joint. Open the box to find it's still dry inside! Very happy with this box! Will be buying more soon!

The design and construction of this product impressed me. Two things that I liked the most were the design of the 4 screws that hold the cover on. Also, even though I didn't notice this when ordering, you can install a back plane into the box. It has built in standoffs and two metal threaded inserts for attachment of the back plane. If I may suggest one thing that would bring this to perfection would be to include 2 metric machine screws for the back plane. Many of us in the US do not have metric machine screws on hand. In my case I ran a tap through and used SAE screws.

Well built, fast shipping, good value. Sounds like an Inkbird product to me!I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a bit smaller than what I'll need for a barebones BIAB controller but larger than what is needed for a DIY temp controller for fermentation.EDIT: Revised to give it 5 stars after getting feedback from the homebrewtalk community on controller design and also having an Inkbird rep reach out to me about my questions. Great customer service!

The media could not be loaded.  Is what it says, a project box that is weather tight until you put holes in it. there are mounting holes to screw it to the wall, and included plastic screws to secure the lid on the box. It is fairly thin plastic, so should be easy to drill or cut holes in to.

Got it wired up and in a nice box and tried it with my smoker. Got it up to temp as programmed and then started cycling to hold with about a +/- 10 degree swing. I suspect that if I leave it go longer or use the autotune it will be a bit more accurate but overall I'm really happy with it.

I have an Inkbird PID controller which fits nicely inside this box. The box is very solid. The threaded standoffs will aid in securing test boards,
