36 hour photos befor and after. Wow-great product. After 10 batches in the past with no trouble, this loquat wine was being fussy, this batch just would not clear up. This time the wine was cloudy and it was going to never clean up on its own. So after 45 days i bought this single pack. 1 overnight time period it looks great for bottling now. This 2 step process is easy. Set timer 1 hour after pouring the tiny amount of liquid from the large package in...then the second package is put in. I used a long straw to slightly spin the top portion of the batch in my carboy before each package was dribbled in. You can see in this photo how much white sediment this package allowed to drop down after around 34 hours now! I enjoy using 1.75 litre rum bottles and my 5 gallon carboy will be about 6-1/2 of those rum bottles and plenty of wine in the fridge for months.

I had some trouble getting a holiday spiced mead to clear. I think because of the cranberries I used for flavor. But after racking the mead and using this product it cleared with a matter of hours, I'm very happy with this product.

Wow! My first batch of mead went from murky to sparkling clear overnight! Looks beautiful, like liquid gold! Particles that fall out of suspension pack tightly at the bottom or the carboy and it’s easy to siphon off the mead without disturbing the sediment. Tasted this young mead before and after adding this “fining” agent and tasted no difference. Now to put this batch away for several months to age and mellow further. When it’s ready I’ll be pleased and proud to make gifts of my home brewed mead to family and friends.This stuff is the right stuff!

I absolutely love how quickly this clears my brew! I throw this and give it a little stir and in 5 minutes or less everything has settled to the bottom and I have beautifully clear wine/meade.It's my go-to for clarifying. I've tried some different stuff before and this by far works the fastest and the most effectively.I'll definitely be buying it again I usually get it from my local brewery but they were closed because of the pandemic and Amazon's always open. Thank you!

the product is great but it was advertised as 4 packets in the picture but i only received one. photo is misleading.

I haven't used it yet. It's defectiveI received had one of the Packet A1 Kieselsol turned chunky. It feels like salt in the packet. I contacted the seller on 01-30-2022 never heard back. I would like a replacement.

I used this in my homemade wine and it worked great and the clarity of the wine was really good and it tasted wonderful. I will use it again this year for my wine. I made a (sweeter) wine closer to a muscato.
